The blend door on my car are all messed up. Ive had this a/c problem. Checked out soo many times by dealers and mechanics. Everyone says it wasthe blend door, I get different amounts of air from all of the different vents.

2 Air Conditioner problem of the 2002 Jeep Laredo

I purchased a 2002 Jeep grand cherokee overland in November 2005 and by may 2006 the air conditioning & heat stopped working. During the winter months I was unable to drive the vehicle because of rapid fogging of windows. I recently took the vehicle to a Jeep dealer to have service done, and was informed that the blend doors needed to be replaced as well as the blower. This will cost approximately $1300. The consequences of this heating and ac failurewere mainly due to fogging of the windows. While driving during changing weather conditions. The windows will rapidly fog up and the defroster will not wor, k causing a danger to myself and those around me. As of now I have not repaired this problem due to the high cost.

3 Air Conditioner problem of the 2003 Jeep Laredo

Failure Date: 07/27/2003

The air conditioning is inadequate. After taking the Jeep to the dealership I was told that "it is within spec. ". I am not in a hot environment and yet after leaving the air conditioning on for 20 min. It still is not very cold.

4 Air Conditioner problem of the 1996 Jeep Laredo

Failure Date: 09/20/2002

The air conditioning was routed through the middle of the vehicle. This design flaw was described in a TSB. It caused condensation, corrosion and rust. While driving the slushing of the water flowing from side to side under dash can be heard. The unit failed to heat or cool the vehicle.

5 Air Conditioner problem of the 2000 Jeep Laredo

Failure Date: 08/31/2000

Front brake rotors warped and were replaced, 11400 miles later, brake began to shutter and consumer was informed that brakes needed replaced again, consumer was told that Jeep uses a softer metal that did not last, consumer also states that there is water leaking on the passenger side floor from underneath the dash when air condition is on, dealer ordered an insulator for the evaporator.
