The contact owns a 2004 Jeep Liberty. The contact stated that while driving at 20 mph going through the green traffic light her vehicle had been hit by another vehicle in the intersection passing a red light. The contact stated that her vehicle was hit head on , however her airbags did not deploy. The contact stated that a police report was made, and her vehicle was towed. The contact stated that the ambulance was dispatched to the scene to evaluate her , and had determined that she was okay at the time and did not have to go to the hospital. The contact stated that she only suffered from a few bruises. The contact stated that she has not contacted the manufacturer nor the dealer at this time. The mileage failure was 200,000.

2 Air Bag problem

Failure Date: 08/01/2014

August 1, 2015 the left rear passenger window dropped and the rear of the vehicle. In the same month my Jeep started to slightly fishtail as if driving in very strong/ high winds. Lastly on November 28, 2015 the passenger air bag sign is showing " passenger airbag off" when it was never a illuminated before.

3 Air Bag problem

Failure Date: 11/05/2013

My Jeeps airbag failed after vehicle crashed into a bush and rolled 60-80 feet down an enbankment after hitting an animal on an icy road. . My concern is that I was not notified by my dealer (taylor & sons, ponderay idaho) or by Chrysler regarding any safety recalls until after the crash. I found out about recalls after my insurance agent gave me a list of recalls recently .

4 Air Bag problem

Failure Date: 06/20/2013

Tl- the contact owns a 2004 Jeep Liberty. The contact stated that she received a recall notice for NHTSA campaign number 12v527000 (air bags) several months ago and the dealer stated that the parts were not available for repair. The manufacturer was notified. The contact had not experienced a failure. The VIN was not available. Mah.

5 Air Bag problem

Failure Date: 01/09/2013

The contact owns a 2004 Jeep Liberty. The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign number: 12v527000 (air bags) one year ago and stated that the reasonable time for repair had surpassed. Both the dealer and the manufacture were notified. The dealer was unable to provide a time for when the part would become available. The contact stated that the air bag and seat belt lights were both illuminated.
