1 Radio/tape Cd Player problem

Failure Date: 07/15/2015

I was driving up the street heard something like a ran over something then Jeep cut off got out to see if I ran over something but nothing was there and Jeep would not start back up, what if I had been on the highway or busy traffic I could have been seriously hurt, which u am blessed that did not happen, the problem I have is Chrysler should notake anything that could cause you bodily harm. A computer should never go out that is dangerous. I had to have the Jeep towed to my home and then to a ship on two different times an one time back home from the shop because I did not have 900. 00 to repair. So I'm stuck without having my Jeep repaired because I'm on a fixed income. Also having electrical problem where Chrysler did poor wiring. , cigarette lighter keep going out, blinker and radio wiring is terrible and one of the front lights. Chrysler you got to do a better job, because I loved my Jeep, but very disappointed because I can't afford to have it repair.

2 Radio/tape Cd Player problem

Failure Date: 03/05/2013

Rear driver side passenger window literally fell into the door fo rno apparent reason. The window now has to be taped up conituously and the window falling down can be a hazard and dangerous of kids in th eback. Not to mention this is a very large and common problem with this model. Jeep/Chrysler needs to recall this defect in workmanship and parts a to make sure the windows just don't fall down into the door. This is not a result of abuse just lousy parts and design and workmanship. Its dangerous and needs to be recalled. Google th eproblem and see how many thousands have complained. Then think about those that have not complained.

3 Radio/tape Cd Player problem

Failure Date: 12/19/2011

In December, 2011, the front driver's side window of my Jeep Liberty fell suddenly while I was driving the vehicle. The sudden and unexpected occurrence nearly caused me to lose control of the car. I felt fortunate that I was driving when this happened and not one of my children. Had I been an inexperienced driver, the sudden shock of this occurrence would have caused me to lose control of the car. I taped the window up and continued to drive it. Two weeks later, the rear window on the driver's side suddenly and unexpectedly fell. At that time, my dog nearly fell out of the car. In the spring of 2012, after driving around with taped up windows for four months, I took the car to a Jeep dealer. The repair cost me $850. 00. This past spring, the same thing happened with the window on the right passenger side. I have been driving with door stoppers shoved into the window to hold it up. Hope I don't have to worry about a grandchild falling out! I have been researching this issue on the internet and there are thousands of complaints about this very issue! the problem appears to be a cheap plastic part in the window mechanism. Many Jeep Liberty owners are saying it is not worth fixing their windows anymore, because they fix them and then the windows just fall again and again and again. Why is this not seen as a safety issue? I work in the public health sector and this is most definitely a safety issue!.
