When it rain water is entering the vehicle on the driver side. I have also noticed that the water is running along the outlets plugs of the vehicle. I have checked the vehicle and there is no sign of where the water is entering. I heard that there was a recall for this condition on other models, but didn't include Jeep.

On multipe occasions since buying the vehicle from a dealer in 2011, while filling up the gas tank the gas has not automatically shut off at the full point causing gas to flow onto the rear quarter panel, and on my hands and jeans. On multiple occasions I have had my duaghter in the vehicle who is still in a car seat and must be picked up and helped in and out of the vehicle. Cannot leave my daughter in the vehicle to wash fuel off my hands, and had to hlep her with gas on me. This has been reported many times and yet nothing has been done. Before even leaving the parking lot with new vehicle dealer took vehicle and filled up gass tank, I was never notified of overflow issues at the dealership, or when the dealer returned with the vehicle. I now slow the gas pump down to avoid the overflow but it still does it just not to the point of spraying upward towards my face.

My Jeep Liberty 2005 has always since new splashed gas back from tank when filling up. I didn't know others had this problem until I read this complaint page. It did it new and has continued to splash back alot of gas onto the body of the car and on the pavement in front of gas tanks when filling up tank at any location. I tend to try to stop filling before full to stop this problem. With so many complaints you should require this problem be repaired. This is dangerous for me and others at the station if just one person comes by smoking. Please acknowledge that this is my formal complaint in case there is ever a death or situation that this become fatal.

Failure Date: 06/05/2013

Power window regulator defective. This plastic regulator breaks and the window drops down. This is a plastic part that has had numerous complaints. Chrysler has even offered extended warranties on select model years on this part, yet has not acknowledged it as a defective part that cost consumers hundreds of dollars to replace as each regulator goes out one by one on your vehicle. This part needs to be replaced with a metal regulator. The average cost to replace this part is $300-$500 each time it fails!.

As I was driving down the road my window just dropped into the door. I was driving my foster dog to adoptions. When I pulled over to see what happened he jumped out if the open window. Since then the only window that works is the driver side. Apparently this is an issue with the Liberty. I thank god a child was not in the seat when the window went down. I have indormed Jeep but they do not care.

Greetings, I am writing to you today because I have received several safety recall notices for the same recall #n46/NHTSA 13v-252 beginning in 2013. I have had my name registered with two different dealerships for well over 18 months with no repair work done. I am asking for your assistance in having this issue remedied. I can be reached at 732-331-7796 for any relevant information or communication. Respectfully, mark melillo.

Whenever I fill up at the gas station, the gas pours out of the filler neck before the pump stops. It happens every time I fill up, no matter what station I go to. I now have to stop short of filling all the way, otherwise the gas spills all over the side of the truck and the fumes get into the inside of the cabin.

I have a 2005 Jeep Liberty renegade and once again. . . For the 3rd time, the regulator has failed on my driver's side passenger window. This has also happened on the passenger side rear window twice. I'm sure after I have the driver's side repaired, this one will also fail. Seeing the neverending complaints filed from other Jeep owners having the same problem, how many complaints have to be filed before Chrysler fixes the problem?.

Jeep - since 2002 has had 1000's of complaints /repairs regarding the rear window regulator breaking over and over, and this also causing the rear doar to jam so it can not be opened. They have known this issue has been going on due to the regulator is plastic, and repeatedly breaks. . . Not being able to the open the door is a safety concern. . . There are 1000's of blogs from people who have replaced these regulators multiple times, and Jeep refusing to reimburse or file a recall - I have a Jeep Liberty 2005, and I now have had to replace both the passenger / driver side regulator, and both times the doors jammed. . . Please investigate this for the 1000's of Jeep owners that having to put out $300+ each time this occurs. . . With the economy the way it is, we just can't afford a new car, or having to pay for the same repair over and over and over. . . Also, if you window won't stay close, it opens your Jeep for being vandalized or even stolen. . . . .

Failure Date: 06/01/2005

We purchased our Jeep Liberty in 2005 and since then the window regulator as failed in every window at least 2 times and in a couple of them 3 times. We have spent hundreds of dollars getting them repaired and they continue to break. My wife was driving today traveling around 50 mph and the front right passenger window fell into the door. I contacted Chrysler and they won't do anything. I believe this problem to be extremely pervasive around the country and Chrysler refuses to issue a recall. Please help.
