The contact owns a 2005 Jeep Liberty with coradonvan wild trac tour lht 225/75/r16 (n/a) tires. The contact stated that while driving approximately 60 mph, the rear driver's side tire blew. The contact stated that the tread became completely separated. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and the tire was replaced. The technician stated that the failure was caused by low tire pressure although the contact did not agree. The dot and VIN were unavailable. The approximate failure mileage was 3,000. The vehicle failure mileage was 126,000.

2 Tire Blowout problem

Failure Date: 08/16/2006

: the contact stated three tires have blown out within the last two years. The last one; the rear right tire failed on 8-16-06. As the contact was driving on a dry highway at 30 mph, there was a loud popping noise. Upon inspection of the tire, the contact noticed a slit on the side of the tire. There was also a slit on the side of one of the other two tires that failed. The contact maintained proper maintenance on the tires. The dealership was informed. The tire was a goodyear, wrangler.
