Air Bag Not Deploy problems of the 2006 Jeep Liberty

Tl- the contact owns a 2006 Jeep Liberty. The contact stated that while driving approximately 40 mph the driver lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a tree. During the crash the vehicle sustained severe front end damage but the air bags did not deploy. The driver sustained a head injury which required medical treatment. A police report was taken at the scene and the vehicle was towed to an undisclosed location. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The local dealer was not notified.
