As you're all aware about the constant and predictable window regulator failure on pretty much all Jeep Liberty's continues to this day. I realize the warranty has been extended an additional seven years but the replacement part hasn't been upgraded. My Jeep has approximately 30,000 miles on it and they have been replaced over fifteen times. Granted the warranty paid for about half of them but I'm disabled and living on social security and can't afford this defect much longer. I thought about selling it because it's otherwise flawless however, words has gotten around and the resale I'm told is about 1,500 dollars. At the moment two of my windows are taped closed. If I had to pay for all the regulators that failed it would've cost approximately 9,000 dollars. Since the 7 year extension has now expired I usually have to replace one about every 3-4 months. And, I only put less than 1000 miles a year on mine. I most likely would have traded it in for a new one but because Jeep decided the money they made was more important than customer loyalty count me out and the many people who are aware of my situation feel the same.
