On 11/22/2017 I parked 5 spaces from the front door of meijer on e. Michigan Ave in jackson, mi. As my esa animal remained in the vehicle I left the car running and heat on low. I was in the store about 3 minutes. By the time I returned to the vehicle I was informed by a bystander my vehicle was on fire and help was on the way. I asked about my dog and was told no one had seen him. I frantically searched the car for (nagini) my dog causing 3rd degree burns on my hands. I was able to retrieve him from the Jeep. He was unconscious and unresponsive. I began cpr and he was resuscitated. But sadly nagini died from his injuries 2 days later.
