Two problems related to front air bag sensor control have been reported for the 2011 Jeep Patriot. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
I believe a few years back there was a recall on the airbag sensor going off. I had the sensor checked, and was told the recall was addressed and cleared. My sensor is now going off again. Is it possible to have it repaired again until the previous recall?.
The contact owns a 2011 Jeep Patriot. The contact stated that while driving at low speeds, the vehicle would suddenly stall. The failure would only occur when using the automation drive transmission and the air conditioner was activated. The contact mentioned that the failure did not occur when using the tiptronic transmission option. The contact also indicated that the failure would occur prior to the engine warming up to normal operating temperature. In addition, the contact also stated that the air bag sensor light had illuminated. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 98,000.
