My daughter was going 30 mph in her Jeep over a bridge. The car infront of her stopped suddenly to avoid an accident. She was unable to stop due to ice and hit the car infront of her. Airbags did not deploy. Then they were hit from behind by a truck going 40 mph. Airbags did not deploy. Route 72 in genoa IL, going straight. Not uploading picture due to license plates seen.

2 Air Bag Not Deploy problem

On the morning of 4/1/18 I was involved in a car accident when my car lost control and hit a tree going between 20-30mph. It was a head on collision where my air bags did not deploy and my seat belt did not tense during or after the collision. As such, I received a large laceration to my forehead when it hit the steering wheel. The accident occurred when I was making a slight left through an intersection near a residential area and the road was slick from a slight rain that was happening. I had skidded out through the intersection and before I knew what was happening I was colliding with the tree in front of me. There were no other parties involved.

I have been contacting my dealership since the recall was issued on my vehicle since 2017. Every time I call I am advised that they do not have the parts to fix my vehicle, to call back. Well it has been almost two years and I am still trying to have this recalled issue fixed. I was involved in an accident December of 2017 where my airbags did not deploy.

This 2014 Jeep Patriot was involved in a crash with a deer and the air bags did not deploy. Recall s61/NHTSA 16v-668 dated 10/01/16 still has no solution for this problem. We also have a 2010 Jeep Patriot under this recall. Every time we drive either car it is in Jeep's hands. We need a solution!!!!!!!.
