Two problems related to crankshaft position sensor have been reported for the 2016 Jeep Patriot. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The engine shut down while driving on a city street. Was able to push the car to the side of the road. Put a code reader on and got po339 code, crankshaft position sensor intermittent. Reset the code and car started and I drove home.
I have a code p0335 crankshaft position sensor a circuit . On my car and it was a recall on it , but my car's VIN says it's not ! it won't crank.
