I bought my Jeep on Thursday January 23rd 2020. We went camping over memorial day the 25th of may 2020 about a week later my tire literally shredded and it bent my rim, and caused me to take my car in and the tire shop said I need all 4 new tires. The guy at the dealership told me my tires had lots of tread left and they would be good for at least another year maybe longer depending on how much I drove the car!.

On may 14, 2017 I walked outside to my parked car in the driveway and noticed that the tire on the driver's side was separating down the middle. I immediately drove to firestone, with caution and low speed, and got it inspected. Once inspected by onsite workers, they told me that the tire had failed and that I would need a new one. I am concerned because I purchased a package at firestone with four tires and I am worried that this will happen to the rest of my tires.

My 2011 Jeep Patriot came with firestone affinity tires, and after only two years and fourteen thousand miles the tires have developed cracks all along the seam where the tread attaches to the tire casing. It looks as though the tread is starting to pull away from the tire.

I had my vehicle at tuffy muffler for an oil change and tire rotation/inspection when they pointed out that three of the four metal tire pressure/position sensors were cracked. The stated this could result in an immediate release of air when the vehicle is in motion. They also told me they had replaced an unusual number of these items in Chrysler made products. It appears there is a defect in the metal alloy they are using. I called Chrysler to inform them that I was filling a complaint as they did not seem concerned with customer safety issue. I am covered under a limited warranty for most of the cost but the issue is the possible loss of tire pressure while the car is in motion.

When I first purchased the car, I notice that I had to fill up the gas every week. After a while the low air notification came on. Basically I find myself adding air to the tires once every few weeks. Since I've done that I noticed I have a little better gas mileage. But I wanted to know am I alone with the faulty tires or are they leaking and what should I do. Do I go back to the dealer? they are goodyear brand of tires.

2010 Jeep Patriot, purchased may 2010, has constant noise under the front left side of the vehicle; the vehicle turns off while in motion.
Seat slider & ball joints Jeep Patriot 2007 4x4 & rear suspension---reported seat coming out of locked position after having to hit break a little hard in forward and also happened in reverse. Made 3 complaints to the same dealer and finally had it replaced. Reported to same dealer about noise in the front and rear of car, after having to replace all 4 tires at 19,000 miles because they were bald. Dealer said nothing was wrong however young lad that installed tires said ball joints were loose and rear end was seized. Never been off road and commute to work is 10 miles one way on expressway. Included is complaint about tires, goodyear 205/70r16 all season. Lasted 19,000 miles and all were bald. Rotated every 5,000 miles and because they are the only ones that make that tire size besides dunlop had no choice but to replace them with the same as I'm canadian here and dunlop is not readily available. Other alternative was to buy all new rims and tires in 17". Am currently fighting with Chrysler to fix the suspension issues since the dealer was aware of it well within the warranty period. I encourage everyone to report problems here and to the head office of the company and don't give up until you receive satisfaction. They ask for us to bail them out, then show responsibility and use better quality parts to build the product.
