Other Fuel System Hoses Lines/piping, And Fittings problems of the 2017 Jeep Renegade

This is related to NHTSA recall 18v731000. Temperatures have been high in August and the vehicle sputters while in park, in drive, in motion, at red lights, while accelerating, while decelerating or simply cruising at steady rate in town or highway speeds. It has been consistent for two to three tank fills of gas (mid and premium grade). The air filter was recently replaced and looks normal. We discovered the recall mentioned above and the symptoms certainly seem similar.
