One problem related to transmission not engage has been reported for the 2017 Jeep Renegade. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
On the highway when transmission wouldn't engage and the Jeep started shaking. Came to a stop, shifted to manual and it needed high rpm's to get it moving. It finally got moving and had to use manual get it off the highway. Was at the dealer a few months earlier dealing with the transmission not engaging. Dealer said it was a software issue. Dealer now says it's not transmission but engine problems. Thankful to be alive.
