Air Bag problem #4

On July 21, 2023, I was vigorously hit in the rear by someone. According to the police report, this person's airbags deployed. Unfortunately, my airbag, although hit extremely hard, did not. I was injured pretty bad and had to get treatment for over a year. I am still not completely healed. I was uneasy about my airbag not deploying and was sent a safety recall notice explaining why it did not. To resolve the issue, the manufacturer is offering free repair of my vehicle. This is not sufficed, and I demand pain and suffering along with medical help. The airbag not deploying during my accident resulted in increased injury. Please help me mediate with the manufacturer.

Air Bag problem #6

About a week after buying the car, the back windows will roll down when they want(not all the time) a couple years into having the car, turned car on one day, and the gas gauge would not properly tell me how much was in it. A few weeks later the main digital radio/ back up camera glitched out and now will not work at all. And then randomly the air bag light came on and stays on all the time not sure why. Seen problems like these in older versions of my Jeep and wondering if others have same issues.

Air Bag problem #7

The contact owns a 2019 Jeep Renegade. The contact stated that while driving around a blind corner, when another vehicle started merging into the contact's lane, the contact avoided a crash with the vehicle however crashed into a ditch. The contact stated that the vehicle landed on the passenger's side, and there was a passenger seated in the front passenger's seat. The contact and the front passenger crawled out of the vehicle. The contact later received a recall notification, NHTSA campaign number: 24v510000 (air bags). The vehicle was taken to the dealer, and the contact was informed that the repair could not be performed. In addition, the contact stated that the vehicle was taken to the dealer about eight times. The contact stated that each time the vehicle was taken to the dealer, the contact was informed that the repair could not be performed without a reason. The contact stated that the vehicle was never inspected. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure but provided no assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 28,000. The VIN was invalid.

Air Bag problem #8

The vehicle was involved in a crash and no airbags deployed. The front right (passenger) side quarter panel, windshield bumper, headlight, marker light, and turn signal will all need replaced. With no safety restraint system, had the accident taken place at higher speeds, my passenger and myself could have been seriously injured or worse. The transmission, at 54,000, has began to overheat and slip while shifting. The cooling fans only work with the air conditioner on causing the vehicle to overheat. This vehicle has a 194° thermostat and the temperature gauge reads 227° but the actual gauge shows the temperature still in the middle, where it always is. I have replaced the coolant bottle due to it separating at the seam causing a coolant leak. Also, NHTSA show that I have zero pending recalls when I know there is because I never took the vehicle to the dealership because the dealership is permanently closed.

The contact owned a 2019 Jeep Renegade. The contact stated while his daughter was at stand still at a traffic light, she was rear ended by another vehicle. No air bags deployed. The contact stated other people were injured in this 6 vehicle collision but he was not aware of how many or what were the injuries with any of them. A police report was filed. The vehicle was not drivable. The insurance company deemed the vehicle was a total loss. The vehicle was first towed to local dealer and then towed to second location at copart. The manufacturer had been informed of the failure and sent out a specialist for crash data retrieval. The failure mileage was 31,778.
