As I was driving the airbag light quickly turned on and off. I did not get it checked out but it is a known issue were the light will turn on due to electrical issues. And if this fails and others or myself are driving/riding in this vehicle and a crash occurs we will not have the protection of the airbags.

I had a service airbag warning go off days prior which was then followed by my parking brake warning and a constant seatbelt warning chime that happened concurrently. The vehicle had these issues cleared by my mechanic but hasn't been able to be resolved. From what I understand, the seatbelt sensor is faulty and should I have an accident in the near future the airbags will not deploy.

I had a service airbag, service parking brake and the seatbelt light starts flashing. It happens every time I drive the vehicle and I had it looked at by a mechanic and they see no issue with the sensors. They told me to check for any recalls and I don’t see any here.
When I was driving and stopped at a red light, my Jeep automatically shut off. It had the steering wheel warning and air bag warning pop up. I had a message that told me to put my vehicle in park when I tried to start it back up. I placed it in park and started up the Jeep again. It came back on, but the warning lights remained on. Once I made it home, I safely turned my vehicle off and then restarted it. Once I restarted it, those warnings were no longer on.
While adjusting the driver seat, the seat's side airbag deployed.

I’m reporting suspicious activity: inaccurate vehicle service records reported by flagship Chrysler bayamón. Every time my Jeep Renegade, VIN [xxx] , has been serviced by flagship Chrysler bayamón—four times in total—the information reported to carfax has been inaccurate : 1. 12/02/2023 - 12/05/2023: right front seat buckle replaced under warranty. Invoice [xxx]. per carfax report dated 07/02/2025 vehicle serviced “tire condition and pressure checked”. 2. 12/21/2024: oil and filter changed, maintenance inspection performed, and motor care product applied. Invoice [xxx]. Per carfax report dated 07/02/2025 vehicle serviced “oil and filter changed” and “tire condition and pressure checked”. 3. 06/30/2025: oil and filter changed, maintenance inspection performed. Ro number [xxx]. Per carfax report dated 07/02/2025 vehicle serviced “oil and filter changed” and “tire condition and pressure checked”. 4. 07/01/2025: safety recall; seat belt buckle switch connector repaired. Not available in carfax report dated 07/02/2025. this ongoing lack of accuracy and transparency is not only suspicious, but it also directly impacts my vehicle’s value and reliability. As the owner, I have always gone above and beyond to keep my Jeep properly maintained, and I expect that commitment to be reflected in official service records. I have an active recall on my 2021 Jeep Renegade. I have made numerous attempts to get this vehicle in since recall was made public. Every excuse under the sun from dealerships in the st. Louis area. From we don't do recall work on weekends, to we are only allowed to order so many parts, we have to put you on a waiting list. Or I am out of a car for hours possibly days? I called the corporate number to stellantis and they actually hung up on me. I work lots of hours, I as a paying customer should be catered to. I need this repair done when its convenient for me as I have a job and work a crazy schedule.
While driving, the auto stop/start light illuminated, the airbag light illuminated and the auto parking brake illuminated. The seat belt sign also lit up and would continuously chime even through the seatbelt was plugged in. All the indications would intermittently come on and off.

Service air bag light has been on about 2 weeks. Tried to unlock car with key fob today. 8/6/2024. Wouldn't work so I replaced the fob battery. Nothing will work on car now. Won't start, can't manually unlock back doors. Couldn't get it in neutral to get on flatbed tow truck. Dealership said it'll be at least 2days before they can look at it. Said there's a recall but no remedy/ parts to be able to fix. Now I have no transportation. And they have no loner car to give me. Worked fine yesterday . Been parked in my driveway.

On January 8, 2024, while increasing my speed from 25mph to 35mph, my parking brake automatically engaged and brought my car to a stop in the middle of the road. I quickly turned the car off and back on, and because there were no warning lights or obvious issues, continued to drive. After I increased my speed above 35mph, 3 warning lights were on the dash: service airbag system, service auto park brake, and start/stop unavailable. I took my vehicle to a local dealership where they diagnosed the issue as a faulty seatbelt sensor. They replaced the seatbelt buckle on January 9, 2024. On April 16, 2024, these issues began to occur again. However, this time, the car did not register that my seatbelt was fastened and the warning light to put on my seatbelt came on along with the service airbag system, service auto park brake, and start/stop unavailable warning lights. On April 18, 2024, as I was driving up an incline, the traction control warning light came on intermittently, along with the sound system unavailable light. These issues did not contribute to a crash or injury, but the car is under a year old and has had multiple issues that cannot easily be diagnosed. My car is currently at a local dealership being inspected.

Airbag light just showed up on my dash, it won't go away with the reset.
The air bag light comes on and the power steering goes out, and the ignition wont turn off , when it comes on. Have to take the battery cable off. Start it back up and it may stay off a few days and comes back on. Too scared to drive it.

My vehicle recently started showing warning/service lights for no reason; airbag, power steering, park lights, coolant, check engine etc. My engine would also keeps running even after removing the keys. . My battery would also be dead the next day (new battery) if battery is not disconnected . Power door locks , also stops working via fob and manual. While driving the power steering would also stops working (very dangerous) as this will prevent you from turning and can cause collision. Engine will start but dies after 5 seconds. I have looked online in Jeep forums and this problems appears to be related to ignition switch. The problems the car is having is very identical to those Renegade owners posted on line. Other Renegade owners got the ignition switch replaced and fixed the problem. As of now, there is no recall for this particular issue but should be investigated. I will be taking my car for recalls and also to include this problem to get fixed. This is a safety matter as it could cause fatality.
2015 Jeep Renegade vehicle's horn stopped working/malfunctioned. The clockspring in the steering column control needs to be replaced, along with a battery transmitter, and an air bag that is in the steering column. A Jeep service confirmed the problem and is ordering parts at this time. The parts cost $1,802. 31, not including labor. Not having a horn to use puts myself and others at risk while driving, especially in high-traffic areas. The manufacturer, police, insurance representatives, or others, have not inspected the vehicle. There were no warning lamps or messages. The horn completing stopped working about three weeks ago.
On July 21, 2023, I was vigorously hit in the rear by someone. According to the police report, this person's airbags deployed. Unfortunately, my airbag, although hit extremely hard, did not. I was injured pretty bad and had to get treatment for over a year. I am still not completely healed. I was uneasy about my airbag not deploying and was sent a safety recall notice explaining why it did not. To resolve the issue, the manufacturer is offering free repair of my vehicle. This is not sufficed, and I demand pain and suffering along with medical help. The airbag not deploying during my accident resulted in increased injury. Please help me mediate with the manufacturer.

I have taken the car in since first oil change with an electrical issue. It still has not been resolved. The abs light, air bag, start stop and seat belt lights and sounds would go off. Potentially causing a whole host of issues. There is still no fix and this will be for fourth time I have taken it the dealer.
About a week after buying the car, the back windows will roll down when they want(not all the time) a couple years into having the car, turned car on one day, and the gas gauge would not properly tell me how much was in it. A few weeks later the main digital radio/ back up camera glitched out and now will not work at all. And then randomly the air bag light came on and stays on all the time not sure why. Seen problems like these in older versions of my Jeep and wondering if others have same issues.
The driver side seat belt failed immediately after first impact to concrete barrier on front driver side the vehicle was then forced back across the highway where it hit the concrete barrier on the right side of the vehicle and was then forced back across the highway where the vehicle came to a stop but only after the vehicle hit the first concrete barrier for a second time there was only one wheel/tire left on the Jeep the other 3 were broke completely off of the Jeep as well as both axles being broke and finally this vehicle comes with a total of seven airbags and after all this not even one of them deployed and as a result my wife was seriously injured there was a police report which reflects my wife was declared not at fault. The vehicle was then towed to crash champions in nampa idaho where they figured that there was over $18,000 in damages our insurance company declared it a total loss so when it came time to pay the claim our insurance company was valuing the vehicle way less than it was actually worth and then they said we did not have medical on the policy then they called up Chrysler finance and tried to get them to accept a payout without my knowledge well that didn't work for them then they told Chrysler that I wanted to retain the vehicle which was a lie all I wanted was for someone to come by and inspect the vehicle then they could've done whatever they wanted to with it I've called the numbers in my owners manual opened up a complaint followed up with them for over a year and they never got back to me also I've been back to the dealership 5 times now and finally met the new manager and informed him of the situation and it's very hurtful inside to know that you've been ignored well here we are a little over 18 months now since the crash and the Jeep is still sitting in my driveway what else can I say,OH yeah I'm pissed.

I was in a t-bone accident involving my 2017 Jeep Renegade trailhawk. The accident was severe enough to yield the vehicle undrivable and insurance has tentatively declared it a total loss (claim not yet finalized). I had a passenger in the front seat at the time of the accident and we were both surprised that no airbags were deployed in the accident. We were wearing seatbelts and fortunately the only injuries sustained were bruising, but without seatbelts injuries would have been far worse. The Jeep was purchased with approximately 25k miles on the odometer, had only one previous owner, and had no record of accidents, damage, deployed airbags, or recalls. At time of the accident, the odometer had around 54k miles, there were no warning lamps or messages, had still not been in any prior accidents, had been regularly maintained, and exhibited no symptoms or problems. Photos of damage attached.
Took my car in for oil change and dealership said there was an oil leak somewhere. Scheduled that for service. Than during the last week I got a airbag disabled/service , disabled park/service warning lights pop up on my dash. Auto/start/stop was disabled, check engine light came on for 10 seconds. Dealership has scheduled service to look into these.
This has occurred ever since I’ve bought my car, and not every time. When car is at a slight incline and at a stop, it will not accelerate. Gas cap broke off for no reason. Dealership rep said that’s happened to someone else too. Chip for airbag sensors are not available.
Air bag system do not opened in my crash.
