The esc, abs, steering torque control, 4wd, parking brake lights all came on. The dealer told me that a rodent had chewed the wiring for a rear wheel speed sensor because it has soy based insulation. The vehicle had been parked over night, but gets driven every day.

The connector to the brake lights (where the wires meets bulbs) melted and has caused my right rear lights to malfunction. I was told the warehouse the part was ordered from had 8 of the parts in stock and that it wasn't normal for that many to be available.
The car was throwing emergence brake failure lights, esc system, service electronic paring brake, service esc system, and check air bags lights.
Following a spontaneous fire that caused our Jeep to be in for repair from 11/9/18 to 1/19/19, almost immediately, the Jeep began to experience brake problems. On January 24, 2019 (only 5 days after a 10-week repair at the Jeep dealership), our son advised me that the hill assist service light was coming on multiple times a day. I phoned brian caswell at shelor in christiansburg, va who advised me to have our son return the Jeep to the dealership which he did on January 25, 2019. Brian called me on January 29, 2019 and advised that they would be doing a warranty repair on the brake light switch. Brian also advised our son that the Jeep had to be towed while parked on the shelor lot because of the brake issue, so it is fortunate that our son made it from blacksburg to christiansburg, va without an accident. Our son picked up the Jeep on January 30, 2019. However, when driving the car back to his apartment, the same "hill start assist" light came on and so the car was not drivable again. (this is the 3rd safety incident with this vehicle in 3 months. - one related to a fire and the second and third due to brake issues. ) brian sent a tow truck on January 31, 2109 to bring the Jeep back to shelor. I also sent an email from the Jeep website to the fca USA customer care center on January 31, 2019 claim number 57935124. Since then, I have also spoken several times with steve stander in the fca corporate office in warren, mi. On February 4, 2019, brian advised me that the anti-lock brake system module needs to be repaired, as this is thought to be the source of the recurring brake problem. The car supposedly is now repaired as of 2/7/19 but we will find out if it this is the case when my son picks it up in a day or so.

Red parking brake light and yellow brake light comes on with some loud annoying beeps as your driving. The attached photo is after I pulled over to take a picture and the other lights had went off. The first incident occurt less than a month after I purchased it. When I contacted the dealer I was told to "not worry about it, it was just an oddity". It has since happened a few other times. When taking it back to the dealer I'm told they can't replicate the issue, there's no codes, reports or recalls. The other photo is same situation but as you see one happened at -4 and the other instance was at 81. Loud engine noise. Fuel pump at gas station kicks of every few seconds no matter how long you wait to insert the nozzle or what angle its at. Was told by dealer all issues are because of temperature. All issues have occurred in temperatures ranging from -3 to 81 degrees. So apparently Jeep's sweet spot is well. . . I don't know. . . Somewhere that doesn't exist. Car has 10,000 miles on it. I have filed a claim with mopar warranty. I am scared to drive my new car. It has all come complete with a car payment and bonus trips to the dealer. .
Seat belt light comes on dings the service airbag light comes on and the emergency brake light all at the same time. No one seems to be able to fix this problem. It does not seem to affect the driving but would have no idea if the airbags would deploy correctly. Also today while driving to work they all stayed on the entire time while dinging for over 20 mins. I have taken it to the dealership many times with no resolve. Some say it will not do it there some say they fixed it by taking off the negative battery cable for 40 mins that worked for like 1 day then all the lights are back. Is am so frustrated with this Jeep and the lack of help. I have no idea if this car is safe for my kids with the airbag, seat belt and emergency brake lights constantly on while driving. This happens when I turn the car on, or they can all just come on while driving. It is at such random times but it is everyday!.
I was turning into my parking space slowly with the brake slightly depressed. As I pressed further on the brake the car accelerated suddenly. I pressed down hard on the brakes and the car didn't slow down and smacked the retaining wall. The dashboard lit up with the parking brake (did not press) and the car with the lightning bolts. I don't know what just happened.
Sept. 27, the brakes locked up while I was driving about 40 mph! I was traveling west on old us12, just leaving chelsea, gaining speed. There were no cars around me, nothing in front, beside, or turning near me. There were no animals in the road. There was no reason for the brakes to lock up. I was driving a friend home, all she noticed was the the brake light came on. I very carefully and slowly drove my friend home and took the car to the dealership, I told them I was not driving the car until they figured out why this happened. It is not safe!.
