Two problems related to front suspension upper arm have been reported for the 1997 Jeep Wrangler. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
While making a right turn at 35 mph vehicle pulled to the right. Mechanic determined right and left lower control arms were bent, also upper left control arm. Parts needed to be replaced. . Consumer stated the upper and lower control arms were bent.
Rear upper control arms that hold the transmission axle in place fractured on both sides.
