One problem related to brake hoses, lines/piping, and fittings has been reported for the 1999 Jeep Wrangler. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The brakes totally failed in my 1999 Jeep Wrangler. The steel brake lines had rusted and the brake petal went to the floor. The vehicle is used in a suburban home environment and I feel that brake lines should not totally fail. We feel we were very lucky this happened in a parking lot not driving on the highway.
