One problem related to owners/service manual has been reported for the 2009 Jeep Wrangler. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
On an inclined boat ramp w/pontoon and emerg brake engaged discovered loose disengaged shifter. Google search led to discovery deteriorated shifter bushing. Same as recall v34. Manually maneuvered shifter on transmission in order to drive home. In google search for remedy, saw countless posts from Jeeps with same issue which could easily be safety related. Was excited when I saw v34, but wasn't showing up for my Jeep. What constitutes a recall for one vehicle and not another when the issue is identicle?.
