One problem related to wheel bolts has been reported for the 2009 Jeep Wrangler. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
During a routine wheel rotation, I was alerted to all 4 of the nuts that secure the tire pressure monitors (and the valve stems) being cracked along their lengths. If only one had been cracked, I would consider it odd, but all 4 means an obvious and extremely dangerous defect. When (not if) one fell one fell off, it would lead to a sudden loss of air pressure and, very likely, an accident. This is a low mileage vehicle that has had no abuse, damage, or accidents that might have caused the cracks to occur.
