Tl-the contact owns a 2010 Jeep Wrangler. The contact stated that the vehicle violently vibrated and the contact lost control of the steering wheel. The failure recurred frequently. The vehicle was taken to the dealer who stated the steering stabilizer failed. The vehicle was not repaired because the part was not available. The failure was not reported to the manufacturer. The failure mileage was 36,000. The current mileage was 38,000. Yn.

2 Steering Failed problem

Failure Date: 07/28/2012

The contact owns a 2010 Jeep Wrangler. The contact stated that while driving 55 mph, he attempted to turn left when the steering wheel snapped, causing the contact to lose control of the vehicle and crash into a concrete barrier. The contact sustained a split lip and a fractured shoulder. The vehicle was destroyed. The vehicle was not inspected for the cause of the steering failure. The failure mileage was 32,000.
