The contact owns a 2010 Jeep Wrangler. The contact stated while driving 30 mph, the vehicle lost electrical power and shut off inadvertently. There was no warning light illuminated. The contact veered to the side of the road. The contact was unable to restart the vehicle after several attempts. The vehicle was towed to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the fuse box panel needed to be replaced. The vehicle was being repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure but did not provide any assistance. However, the manufacturer informed the contact that it was a known failure and referred him to NHTSA. The failure mileage was approximately 106,000.
