The contact owns a 2011 Jeep Wrangler. While driving at an unknown speed, the steering wheel stiffened and became difficult to turn. In addition, the battery and overheat warning indicators illuminated and the temperature gauge increased. The vehicle was taken to the dealer (frey motors at 409 valley st, lewistown, PA 17044) where it was diagnosed that the serpentine belt needed to be replaced and the air condition hose was fractured. The vehicle was repaired, but the failure recurred. The manufacturer was notified and stated that there was no recall in reference to the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 36,580.
