Two problems related to engine burning oil have been reported for the 2011 Jeep Wrangler. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Excessive oil consumption caused engine to fail, had 4000 miles to next oil change and only had 1/2 quart of oil remaining. No smoke or oil on ground were detected.
Excessive oil consumption. Jeep bought new, has less than 25,000 miles. Engine oil level was 2 quart low, 2400 miles after oil and filter change. No engine leaks or exhaust smoke. 3. 8 engine. Google oil consumption 3. 8 engine, a well known problem not being address.
