Three problems related to other fuel system tank filling/charging have been reported for the 2012 Jeep Wrangler. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
When filling the gas tank, once it reaches the full point, it fails to trigger the fuel pump to stop in time and fuel spills all over the side of the rear fender. It does this every single time I fill up.
Fuel sprays out of the filling tube when refueling to a full tank.
Gas spills out of the gas tank when filling up. Happens at different gas stations, both with the handle clipped in the pump position and also when gripped by hand throughout. Very dangerous as it has gotten on my hands and clothes and all over the car. Very flammable situation.
