The contact stated that while the driver was at complete stop at a red light the vehicle independently accelerated with the brake pedal was engaged causing the driver to crash into a dump truck rear end. The driver was able to drive the vehicle home. There was not injuries to report. A police report was not file. The manufacturer engineer performed a diagnostic at an unknown dealership and was unable to locate a failure code the manufacturer engineer concluded that the brake failure was not caused by a manufacturer defect.
