Instrument Cluster/panel problems of the 2022 Jeep Wrangler

The detective reported that the 2022 Jeep Wrangler spontaneously caught on fire. The contact stated that after the owner parked the vehicle, approximately six hours later a fire occurred which started in the engine compartment of the vehicle. The fire department was called to the scene and extinguished the flames. During the incident the vehicle was destroyed. No injuries were reported. A police and fire report was taken at the scene and the vehicle was later tow away. The cause of the failure was not yet determined. The manufacturer and local dealer were not notified by the contact. The contact was concern that the vehicle had experienced the same failure listed in the NHTSA campaign number: 23v787000(electrical system) which did not include the diesel models. The contact indicated that the vehicle had experienced that same failure listed in the recall. The failure mileage was unknown.
