1 Equipment problem

Failure Date: 06/09/2026

Stellantis (owner of Jeep) has issued an intent to recall a million or so Wranglers/gladiators starting next month. They have urged people to park away from structures and other cars. Living in suburban NY, relatively dense by most standards, and working in a place I park my car in a garage, this is near impossible therefore leaving my car a combustion risk, risking the lives and wellbeings of myself, my family, and my neighbors, along with my work associates. While this may work in rural areas such as peoria, this is not an acceptable solution for nyers such as myself. Furthermore, I purchased the car to be plugged in, and given this news, am urged to relinquish a very expensive feature I paid good money to use.

2 Equipment problem

Failure Date: 05/18/2026

Shortly after a recall repair was completed, I experienced a sudden loss of motive power while driving approximately 45 mph on a public roadway. At the time of the incident, the vehicle had approximately half a tank of gasoline remaining. I observed the high-voltage battery gauge reach approximately 1% state of charge. Immediately after the battery gauge reached that level, the vehicle suddenly lost power and appeared to stall while in motion. I received no warning before the failure occurred. At the time of the event, a battery system failure warning appeared along with a plug icon on the dashboard. I was forced to pull off the roadway and bring the vehicle to a complete stop. The vehicle had to be placed in park and restarted before it would operate again. Fortunately, there was a safe area available to pull over. Had this occurred in heavier traffic or where there was no safe shoulder, it could have created a serious safety hazard. I returned the vehicle to the dealership. The dealership retained the vehicle for approximately one week but advised they could not duplicate the failure and could not identify a cause. I was told to keep the vehicle charged. My concern is that the incident occurred immediately after the battery gauge reached approximately 1% state of charge. Based on the timing of the event, I am concerned there may be a problem related to the transition from electric/hybrid operation to gasoline engine operation when the high-voltage battery reaches a very low state of charge. I am not claiming this is the cause, only that the timing appears significant. To my knowledge, the vehicle was kept charged during dealership testing, and I do not know whether the battery was allowed to reach the same low state of charge that existed when the failure occurred. A sudden loss of motive power while driving creates a significant safety risk, and I have not received a clear explanation for the cause of the failure or assurance that it will not happen again.

3 Equipment problem

Failure Date: 03/24/2026

I own a 2023 Jeep Wrangler rubicon 4xe (VIN: 1c4jjxr66pw627097). The instrument cluster/dashboard intermittently shuts off while driving, resulting in complete loss of speedometer, warning indicators, and critical driver information. This creates a significant safety hazard, as I am unable to monitor vehicle speed or receive warnings while the vehicle is in motion. In January 2026, I took the vehicle to the dealership for this same issue. The instrument cluster was repaired under warranty/customer satisfaction repair. However, the exact same problem has now returned. My vehicle is not currently included in recall 30b, but the symptoms are consistent with that recall involving instrument cluster failure. I am concerned that this defect may affect additional vehicles not currently covered. I am requesting that NHTSA investigate this issue and consider expanding recall 30b to include vehicles like mine. I have video evidence showing the dashboard shutting off while driving and will provide it as part of this complaint. Https://drive. Google. Com/drive/folders/1ab3nkolhpv66es_vrzsifkln83ezv5lc.

4 Equipment problem

Failure Date: 12/31/2025

My wife and I were driving to the dealer to have a safety recall service performed on her Jeep Wrangler 4xe. We had just merged onto the highway, I was in my car, behind my wife in her Jeep. Less than a mile onto the highway, my wife suddenly slowed down and moved to the right lane. As she moved over to the right lane, I saw her front tire violently wobbling back and forth. We slowed down to 30mph on the highway and after approximately 30 seconds the problem seemed to resolve. We limped our way to the exit (about another mile) and to the dealer about 1/4 mile off the highway. When my wife got out of the car she was still shaking, rattled by what had just happened. When we described what happened to the service center they responded "OH, you had the death wobble. " after some research, I watched several videos about the death wobble, which confirmed what I had just seen. What if my wife had panicked and pulled over into another car in the right lane? what if she was on a small 2 lane highway and veered off the road and down an embankment? there were no warning lights or messages on the vehicle indicating any problem prior to this happening. This happened with zero warning and was terrifying to watch, let alone my poor wife experiencing first hand. The Jeep dealership has run diagnostics and report it is a bad steering damper. More than 3 weeks later the car remains at the dealership, awaiting repair of not only that, but also the safety recall fix for the hybrid battery. Communication from the dealership has been vague and suspicious in my opinion. They repeatedly have said they are waiting to hear from Jeep on what to do next. My research indicates a previous class action suit relating to this "death wobble" issue on previous models. How does something this dangerous still happen on a 2023 model car with 19000 miles in 2025. I'm shocked at how casually the dealer and manufacturer have addressed this issue.

5 Equipment problem

Failure Date: 12/29/2025

The high-voltage battery system on my Jeep Wrangler 4xe malfunctioned and is subject to recall 25v-741 (68c). The vehicle has been under safety recall for battery fire risk for months, with instructions to park outside and avoid charging due to fire hazard. On December 29, the recall remedy failed and the vehicle was rendered completely undrivable (“bricked”) at the dealership. I was informed that hybrid battery components/repair parts are not available and there is currently no way to return the vehicle to a safe, operable condition. The vehicle cannot be moved or driven and remains stored outside. This defect creates a direct safety risk to me and others. I am unable to charge or operate the vehicle normally, and I have been advised by the dealer that the recall repair cannot be performed because there are no available batteries or parts. This leaves me without transportation and continues the safety risk identified by NHTSA, with no practical remedy or timeline. The problem has been confirmed by a Jeep dealer, and I have written documentation showing the vehicle is non-drivable due to the recall condition. I have also attempted resolution with stellantis/Chrysler capital without success. I request NHTSA investigate the lack of remedy availability and failures related to recall 25v-741/68c for affected owners whose vehicles are now immobilized.

6 Equipment problem

Failure Date: 12/29/2025

Two months ago the vehicle decided to not work at all. Couldn’t turn it on couldn’t move it. Had to have it towed where they kept it for 3 weeks and said it was main battery and replaced it. Fast forward to yesterday 12/29 and the engine light came on again. Waiting for dealership to contact when they’ll have loaner vehicle. But this is the second time in 2 months the engine light has come on. We bought the vehicle in September a month later in the shop. Now again going back to the shop. This vehicle has under 30k miles and I’m not a a very happy customer right now.

Failure Date: 12/19/2025

I am submitting this complaint regarding a safety concern with my Jeep following the completion of recall 68c. Since the recall service was performed, the vehicle has experienced significant issues when operating in hybrid mode. While driving in hybrid mode, the vehicle repeatedly switches back and forth between hybrid and electric operation. When the vehicle enters electric mode, the rpms will suddenly spike and the vehicle will call for the gasoline engine. When the accelerator pedal is pressed, the vehicle is unable to maintain electric power and immediately switches into gasoline mode. This behavior results in constant drivetrain shifting and erratic engine speed changes. The rpms frequently jump from 0 rpm (electric operation) to approximately 3,000 rpm when the gasoline engine abruptly engages. The repeated transitions between electric and gasoline power create noticeable hesitation, jerking, and inconsistent acceleration. This issue began only after the recall 68c service was completed and was not present beforehand. The repeated switching between propulsion modes appears abnormal and may pose a safety concern, particularly during acceleration or when merging into traffic where predictable vehicle response is critical. I am submitting this report so that this issue can be documented and investigated to determine whether the recall repair may have introduced or failed to correct a problem within the hybrid drivetrain system. 2023 Jeep Wrangler 4xe unlimited.

I have several issues. 1. An independent auto shop noticed all 4 of my shocks were leaking when they did an oils change and tire rotation recently. I have had my other oil changes and rotations at the dealership prior to this and they never mentioned it. I’ve tried calling my dealership svc dept. About it 4 times now with no call backs. 2. The new tires that came with my Jeep from the factory only lasted about half their treadwear. I had to replace prematurely at 30,000 miles bc they were causing a “deathwobble” on my Jeep at speeds of 60-70mph and they were also messing with my alignment which I paid the dealer to try to fix but they’ll couldn’t bc it turns out it was the tires the whole time but they’ll couldn’t bc couldn’t figure this out. The independent tire shop figured it out. 3. This is the most worrisome they just sent me another recall about the high voltage battery pack being dangerous and poasibly catching fire. It says not to charge it or park it near structures. This is the 2nd or 3rd recall of this sort and it’s not allowing me to use the electric features on my vehicle which I paid extra for when I bought it and I pay yearly for with insurance and taxes. . I need compensation or a vehicle exchange or a buyback so that I can use my vehicle as it is intended to be used. This is a clear violation of that. Please help me!.

9 Equipment problem

Failure Date: 12/01/2025

I am reporting a safety-related electrical failure involving the heated steering wheel system in a 2023 Jeep Wrangler. While driving, the heated steering wheel malfunctioned and produced smoke from the steering wheel area. This created an immediate safety concern due to the presence of smoke and the potential for electrical overheating or fire in a critical driver control component. This was not an isolated incident. The same system required a prior repair under warranty in late 2023. Despite that repair, the failure recurred in late 2025 with more severe symptoms, including overheating and damage to electrical components. The vehicle was taken out of service for repair, and the total time out of service related to this issue was approximately 115 days due to parts delays and repair time. The problem was confirmed and repaired by authorized dealerships, including replacement of the steering wheel and related electrical components. There were no meaningful warning indicators prior to the failure. The issue occurred during normal operations. The repeated failure of the same system, combined with smoke and electrical malfunction in the steering wheel, raises concern about a potential defect that could pose a safety risk to drivers and passengers.

10 Equipment problem

Failure Date: 12/01/2025

My battery recall was completed by my dealership (fca 68c) and then once I received my car back my mpg dramatically dropped from an average of 32 mpg combined to at best 28 mpg combined. The recall states that they will do a software update for the battery and that if it is not resolved then they will replace it. My concern is that now my mpg is so much lower, what software update was completed? did this reduce the capacity of my battery in order to prevent if from overheating/possibly igniting? is fca cutting corners in order to prevent having to replace the entire battery when they should be doing so? I also noticed that my car is not switching to electric motor when it should be. I drive the same route to work every day and my battery would get me to work and back, now it does not. Now, about two weeks after my recall was complete it is back in the shop due to an engine light illumination.

11 Equipment problem

Failure Date: 11/20/2025

In the last twelve months, the vehicle has been serviced six times for ongoing issues related to the hybrid system, yet the problems persist. Despite multiple visits to the dealership, the defect remains unresolved. My 2023 Jeep Wrangler has an active hybrid battery recall (68c), which according to NHTSA is an extension of the earlier 95b recall involving risk of fire related to the hybrid battery. Recall 95b was marked “resolved” after my hybrid battery was replaced on 11/20/2025, yet I now have another recall for the same safety-related issue. This indicates that the original defect was not properly resolved and suggests ongoing hybrid system safety risks. The recall repair for 68c is still listed as “no parts available,” leaving me unable to have this safety defect corrected. During this period, the vehicle has stalled, lost power, and displayed repeated warning lights associated with hybrid system failure and recall-related issues. These events have occurred while driving and present a serious safety concern. I have opened a case with stellantis and have documentation of all service visits and all communication with the manufacturer. Stellantis denied my buyback request without providing written reasons and closed my case. They offered a small discount on a new vehicle that would require rolling over nearly $20,000 in negative equity, which does not resolve the underlying safety defect. They also offered two vague extended warranty options but refused to provide written details, and these do not correct the defect or address the safety risk. I do not feel safe driving the vehicle. I fear the possibility of injury due to the unresolved hybrid system defect, stalling incidents, and the ongoing fire-related recall with no available remedy. Stellantis has failed to correct the defect and has not provided an adequate or safe solution. Requesting assistance as this is an active safety issue involving repeated hybrid system failures and a recall with no remedy.

12 Equipment problem

Failure Date: 11/15/2025

The dealer sold me a vehicle that was under a mandatory federal stop-sale recall, which is unlawful. Stop sale ignored by dealer.

13 Equipment problem

Failure Date: 11/11/2025

My leased 2023 Jeep Wrangler 4xe is included in recall #68c (NHTSA #25v741000) for a battery fire risk when parked. Jeep and NHTSA have both advised owners not to charge or park the vehicle near structures due to a potential fire hazard. This makes the vehicle unsafe and unusable under normal lease conditions. I contacted my leasing company, Chrysler capital, to request assistance because the vehicle cannot be safely used or parked. Their representatives repeatedly refused to escalate or document my case and stated that they “can’t do anything,” including refusing to provide a supervisor’s id or written confirmation. I feel unsafe keeping or driving the vehicle, and I believe I should not be charged lease fees or penalties while it is under this recall. I am requesting that this issue be investigated and that Jeep and Chrysler capital provide appropriate lease termination or safety accommodations.

Failure Date: 11/01/2025

This is my daily vehicle. The fact that there is an active fire safety recall with no remedy is absolutely horrible. Per my VIN this has been the third safety recall on same issue in two years. Please make Jeep fix this problem or buy these cars back to get them off the roads. Thank you!.

15 Equipment problem

Failure Date: 11/01/2025

I was driving my 2023 Wrangler 4xe to work one Saturday morning. No weather conditions, no change of habit in my drive, and normal driving conditions in general. Half way there I felt a weird change and slight jerk while on the highway. After I noticed a light come on. I was unable to stop so I continued and monitored my gauges. All seemed normal except it kicked into gas only mode I noticed. Once I made it to my first red light it braked funny/differently. Once the light was green I accelerated but it was delayed and felt clunky. It almost jolted a little in order to go. I was five minutes from work so I continued on slowly. Once I made it to work I had to turn left through a double lane. Once clear I accelerated to turn into my lot. The Jeep stayed lit but completely lost power and actually stopped in the middle of oncoming traffic. Thankfully one car slowed but the other planned to keep going. I panicked hitting the gas a few times until it finally jolted me up into the parking lot. Once I parked it I turned it off to breath and calm down. My child could have been in there. Had I not moved someone could have hit me and blamed me for the accident. After I parked it and turned it off it would not turn back on and shift again. But once I got a tow truck there to take to the dealer he was able to to turn it on. So I’m unsure how that’s safe either.

We are scared to drive our vehicle and we have grandkids who ride with us . I would like the dealership to allow us to trade this in without any hassle. Urgent: fire risk when parked an urgent safety recall has been issued for this vehicle and the manufacturer has recommended that you follow their instructions on how and where to park this vehicle. More information is available under NHTSA recall number 25v741000. Oct 30,2025 manufacturer recall number68c NHTSA recall number25v-741 recall statusrecall incomplete, remedy not yet available summary in rare circumstances, a battery pack may contain cells with separator damage. Separator damage, combined with other complex interactions within the cells, may lead to a vehicle fire. Safety risk a vehicle fire can result in increased risk of occupant injury and injury to persons outside the vehicle. Vehicle risk is reduced when the battery charge level is depleted. Accordingly, owners are advised to refrain from recharging. Out of an abundance of caution, fca us is also advising owners of these vehicles to park away from structures or other vehicles until the remedy is obtained.

Failure Date: 10/24/2025

I was driving and all the lights on the cluster came on, with an instruction to slowly pull over place the vehicle in park and restart the vehicle. Apparently the vehicle dead while I was driving it. At the same time I received a message from the vehicle app saying unable to charge vehicle. Strange because I was driving the vehicle at that time and not attempting to charge it.

Failure Date: 08/29/2025

I bought this Jeep brand new on 7/5/2025 at a dealership with 342 miles on it. The night of purchase, I noticed the fog lights did not work. The dealership had to replace all the wires to the fog lights. On the morning of 8/29/2025, while driving my vehicle between the speeds of 25 - 55 mph to work, the vehicle would shimmy for unknown reasons. Later that afternoon, while driving home from work on the interstate at approximately 60 mph, the vehicle began a severe shake (aka death wobble). I was able to slow down and safely exit the interstate, but the vehicle did not stop the “death wobble” until it was at a near stop. I immediately called the dealership, and they are to inspect it first thing in the morning on 8/29/2025. This vehicle has not had any modifications or previous owners.

Failure Date: 01/07/2025

I went to crowley dealership in bristol CT for the 95b recall fix. I do not believe it was done correctly as my Jeep had not been driven at all. I have a picture of the mileage upon drop off and it matched the mileage at pickup. Jeep and mopar are also not recognizing the recall as being fixed and still shows it as active. It was also strange that I received a call to come get a loaner vehicle as my Jeep would not be ready (drop off Sunday night, call received for rental Tuesday afternoon) and as I pulled into the parking lot, I received a voicemail my Jeep was in fact ready for pickup. I am worried this was done incorrectly and being [xxx] with other children / people constantly in my car, I am worried for our safety. Information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u. S. C. 552(b)(6).

Jeep caught on fire while it was parked in the driveway there as a ecall on the battery as it s a 4xe I had an appointment with the Jeep dealer on the 16th of December and they cancelled it few days before the scheduled appointment they said they didnt have any loaners as it was a 2 day job they would call to reschedule they did not and it blew up on the 27th of December.

24 Equipment problem

Failure Date: 12/18/2024

The issue involves the high-voltage battery system and charging system on my 2023 Jeep Wrangler 4xe. The vehicle was previously subject to recall 95b, which addressed high-voltage battery safety concerns and was performed by an authorized Jeep dealership. After that recall, the vehicle later experienced additional hybrid system issues, which required replacement of the charging port due to battery-related faults. Most recently, the vehicle was brought to the dealership for safety recall 68c, which addresses potential internal battery cell failure that may lead to overheating or fire. During the recall procedure, after the required software updates and diagnostic testing, the vehicle failed the 68c recall. The dealership confirmed that the high-voltage battery must be fully replaced. The vehicle has been out of service since January 6, 2026 and remains at the dealership. A star case was opened with stellantis, but the dealer has confirmed there is no estimated time of arrival for the replacement battery and no estimated time to repair the vehicle. The battery is available for inspection upon request. This defect poses a serious safety risk, as the recall involves potential battery overheating or fire, including when the vehicle is parked. I was advised not to charge the vehicle and to park away from structures prior to repair. The issue has been confirmed by an authorized Jeep dealership and acknowledged by the manufacturer, but the safety defect remains unresolved due to the lack of an available remedy. Due to the unresolved safety recall and lack of an estimated repair timeline, I have been unable to use the vehicle while continuing to incur lease payments and insurance costs. The vehicle is not in my possession and remains out of service solely due to a manufacturer-acknowledged defect. This ongoing loss of use and financial burden has not been addressed.

25 Equipment problem

Failure Date: 12/03/2024

What component or system failed or malfunctioned, and is it available for inspection upon request? Jeep 4xe: after coming to a complete stop or just slowing down and entering a lower gear, has a 1-2 second delay in the accelerator. Has caused tires to squeal when accelerator started to respond. Have almost caused accidents when becoming unresponsive as the vehicle will move forward but lose accelerator power. This happens infrequently and spontaneously which makes it impossible to plan for/ drive defensively against, cannot replicate or force it to happen. Vehicle can be inspected upon request. How was your safety or the safety of others put at risk? vehicle will move forward after stopping, such as an intersection, and suddenly does not increase for 1-2 seconds making me a hazard to traffic. This happens maybe 1-3x a week and is impossible to replicate. Have been almost rear ended many times as no brake lights appear when this happens. Have almost been t-boned by oncoming traffic because of the delay. Has the problem been reproduced or confirmed by a dealer or independent service center? no. Has the vehicle or component been inspected by the manufacturer, police, insurance representatives or others? vehicle has had engine repaired and inspected by dealership. Were there any warning lamps, messages or other symptoms of the problem prior to the failure, and when did they first appear? no.

26 Equipment problem

Failure Date: 11/11/2024

While driving my 2023 Jeep Wrangler on a road traveling at approx 15 to 20 mph the “auto park “ feature activated and the vehicle came to an abrupt stop in the middle of the road. The d indicator was blinking and in order to proceed I had to place the shift in park and then back in drive. The car was flat bedded to the dealer who was unable to fix it. The dealer was unable to assure me this would not happen again. The dealer did disconnect the wiring to the door which gave my wife and I some comfort and peace of mind. One of two things could have caused this to happen;1 a malfunction in the module in the door or 2 a malfunction in the computer. I have a severely degenerated cervical spine; a rear end collision could cause me severe injury. It is absolutely necessary that this function be turned off in my vehicle. I have been patiently awaiting for Jeep wave and my local dealer to fix this problem. In the meantime, my wife and I have had no window operation nor keyless entry nor mirror operation on the driver’s side. It was only by the grace of god that no vehicle was following us that day.

27 Equipment problem

Second time we have had an issue with the battery. Unable to plug it is because of an unresolved battery recall, this time for over a month. We purchased the vehicle specifically for the battery and now we have to buy fuel.

28 Equipment problem

Failure Date: 10/28/2024

On October 27th, my Jeep started shaking violently as I was driving on the highway. I brought the Jeep to the dealership, they test drove it, and the mechanic did not experience the shaking so I was told “that’s just what Jeeps do”. I then researched Jeep shaking and found the death wobble is a common problem among Jeeps and there are several ways to fix it. I took my Jeep back to the dealership, they once again test drove it and could not replicate the wobble. They said I could leave it there and they could continue to drive it daily to find the problem, as they cannot fix it if the mechanic cannot experience the wobble. I don’t have another vehicle to drive and cannot leave my vehicle there indefinitely. They did an alignment, and sent me on my way. The Jeep continues to violently wobble, today forcing me to pull off on the side of the highway. This is not safe, I feel terrified to drive it over 60 mph, and feel this is totally unacceptable to be told “this is what Jeeps do” and “this is just your vehicle”. I expect to feel safe in a $40,000 car I bought brand new last year.

29 Equipment problem

Failure Date: 10/21/2024

Open 95b recall. High voltage battery safety issue, can cause fire. Advised not to charge, not to park indoors, and away from structures. There is no root cause, no parts, no firm timeline and I the manufacturer has been unresponsive. Initial contact was 10/31, and I have not yet received any follow-up from them (though I have contacted them proactively 3+ times). This is a leased vehicle with 13k miles and the dealer is not helpful, the manufacturer is not helpful, and quite frankly this level of concern is unnerving, and escalated in terms of anxiety and fear for what 'could or might happen'. To top it off not only do we have one of these vehicles, but two of them, both impacted.

30 Equipment problem

Failure Date: 10/04/2024

On Friday, October 4th 2024 I was driving my Jeep to work in the early morning hours. I was about ½ mile from getting on the highway when my Jeep completely shut down. Everything inside of my Jeep went black and I was completely horrified. I managed to get the Jeep started and was able to drive to work. When I got to work I immediately called ourisman Jeep in bowie maryland and explained the problem to them. I brought the Jeep in on Monday, October 7th and my Jeep has been there since then. After ourisman having the Jeep for two weeks, I was informed that my Jeep was part of a newly released recall involving electric Jeeps with no projected resolution date. I no longer feel safe driving my Jeep and I have asked for a “swap” of sorts. I have requested another vehicle that is exactly the same as my current vehicle just not electric. I was been advised that my request needed to be escalated but after many many conversations there is still no resolution to my request. I am absolutely disappointed with the way this situation has been handled. I cannot help but think of the deadly repercussions had I been on the highway when this incident occurred. I did not ask for this inconvenience that is totally exhausted me financially and emotionally. I am driving a rental car that I am paying for wit the understanding of reimbursement once I return the vehicle. This issue is not one that I created but rather a failing on the corporation to provide a swift and satisfying resolution. While I’m sure this may cause Jeep to loose significant revenue, I find it completely disgusting that they would put corporate dollars before the safety of it’s owners. As of today 11/22/26 I have no resolution, no car and paying close to $400. 00 per week for a rental car!.

Unknown. Jeep’s dashboard and the indicator by shift (park) illuminates randomly while parked and drains the battery. After the latest event battery voltage tested to 4. 4v. Jeep won’t even make a click sound when trying to start. This happened first week of new car delivery and three more times within past eight months. I spoke to the sales agent after first event and he said it will be noted. Second time dealer service replaces both main and auxiliary battery. A month later dealer service just recharged both batteries for the same issue. Now the Jeep is having same issue and taken to the dealership for service. Engine light also came on after the latest event. The Jeep is still at the service center for last 13 days. They informed me that both batteries are replaced and the error codes for engine light are p1ae2 and p1e75. I’m not aware of any other attempts to find the cause of the issue.

This is a hybrid vehicle. I received a recall notice that the vehicle cannot be plugged in to charge or parked near any other vehicles or structures until the recall is repaired. I work at a mall, and I live in an apartment building, so this is not possible for me. It feels dangerous to own this car. I purchased it to save on gas, and now I can’t even do that for the foreseeable future. None of the local dealerships and nobody online has any information on when these parts will be available. 2 dealerships could not give me any information or assistance. I was told to fill out this form.

While driving in all electric mode, car abruptly lost power and would not accelerate. After power loss, car lunged forward abruptly without noticeable cause. I worried I had been hit from behind and quickly checked the rearview mirror, but nothing had impacted the back of my Jeep. “d” symbol for “drive” on the shifter was flashing. Not sure what was happening on the instrument panel. I hurried and shut off the ignition and then restarted it and the vehicle started up again without issue. Jeep is currently at the dealer for inspection. There were no prior indications or warning lights on in the vehicle when this occurred.
