My dealership (Jeep bayside annapolis, MD) is refusing to fix the recall. They say they’ve had issues with some of the cars, and it’s taking too long. They said they’ve are capable of fixing the recall, but are refusing to do so.

3 Equipment problem

Car has been at the dealer to be fixed since Dec 21st 2025 with no repair estimate in site. No loaner car given, no communication from the dealer, Jeep corporate said the repair was completed but car is still there with no communication to us. When we call no one answers the phone.

4 Equipment problem

Failure Date: 12/02/2025

The automatic emergency breaking sensor has not been working ive taken it to the dealer twice. The dealer keeps saying the sensor is on back order and they have no time line or update on when the part will be available. Also I called regarding the hv battery recall and there is no solution to the recall.

5 Equipment problem

Failure Date: 11/18/2025

I was driving on a very busy road and the vehicle lost power. I consider that my life was in danger because of me the traffic piled up and other drivers were furious with me. No matter what I tried, the car simply would not stop. Aaa came and was unable to make the car start. It was towed to a dealership. Prior to this I already had two service visits related to the start stop warning light coming on in my dashboard. The first time, the service department claimed that they could not figure out what caused it, but they replaced the auxiliary battery that powers the start stop feature. Basically one day later, the start stop warning light came on again. I had to take it back to the dealership and they kept the vehicle for two days and I don't think anything was done. After the vehicle was returned to me, within days the warning light came on and then would go off and come back on sporadically. On the date of the complete power loss, the warning light came on in my dashboard about one hour before the power loss. So far, Jeep has said that they won't even be able to look at my vehicle for a week and it will probably take at least two weeks because they are short-staffed. I think I have a lemon.

6 Equipment problem

Failure Date: 11/07/2025

I am reporting concerns regarding the handling of NHTSA recall 25v-741 (stellantis 68c) on my 2025 Jeep Wrangler 4xe. When I contacted the dealership (Jeep only – 5255 w sahara Ave, las vegas) to address the recall, the service department refused to schedule a recall-related inspection, refused to open a required star case with stellantis, and told me “nothing can be done,” despite the recall involving a high-voltage battery fire risk. I was also given misleading information about the vehicle’s safety and have been unable to obtain a copy of my signed lease agreement despite multiple requests. Their refusal to follow proper recall procedures leaves me without guidance on a fire-risk safety defect, and I am currently pregnant, making this situation especially concerning. I am requesting NHTSA review of the dealership’s handling of this safety recall and lack of assistance to consumers.

7 Equipment problem

Failure Date: 10/11/2025

Vehicle shut down without warning while driving 6 times within an hour time period trying to get to nearest repair facility. No throttle response and loss of power steering upon occurrence. After pulling over and restarting the vehicle, the vehicle functioned normally for 5 to 10 more minutes but a check engine light stayed illuminated. Vehicle was operating on battery power, not gas engine, each time. Dealership has possession of the vehicle currently.

8 Equipment problem

Failure Date: 10/10/2025

There was an over the air updated to something in the vehicle and now hybrid battery range is much lower. Also, have seen multiple complaints that the vehicle will not turn on or stalls while driving creating dangerous conditions on the road while driving. I have not attempted to drive on the road after seeing other complaints concerning this update. Vehicle was perfectly fine before update. This is completely unacceptable, essentially using drivers as test dummys for untested and unproven software updates.

9 Equipment problem

Failure Date: 10/10/2025

After receiving a notification about a "uconnect update" on my infotainment and next start of my vehicle I experienced 3 loss of acceleration events within relatively short time intervals. When the event occurs, the dash flashes "p" and states the vehicle needs to be shifted into park, and restarted. First incident, I felt a hard thud when I shifted to drive. Upon the second incident (roughly 200 feet/10 seconds from the first incident), the check engine light came on, and the same message appeared. Forcing me to shift to park, and then restart the vehicle. The issue occurred for the 3rd time roughly 400 feet from where the second incident occurred. I have a tow scheduled to bring it to the dealership tomorrow.

10 Equipment problem

Failure Date: 09/06/2025

On multiple occasions, the auto start/stop system has triggered a failure message on the driver notification screen on the center console. As a result, less than two to five minutes after the failure warning, the entire vehicle loses power and electrical continuity. The vehicle loses all electrical systems, accessories, and critical driving elements (including speedometer and other instruments). This requires full roadside towing and assistance. The vehicle was taken to two Jeep/Dodge/ram service centers for diagnostics and service, and both centers were unable to replicate the customer concern, although one noted that the battery terminal was "disconnected", even though the engine bay and battery section was never accessed by the driver from when it was purchased, including roadside assistance never accessing the engine bay and battery section, they simply towed the vehicle by disengaging the parking brake and engaging it when towed. This poses an abrupt and severe safety concern, as sudden loss of power and electrical systems results in loss of control, loss of lighting (external lights (headlights, taillights, hazard lights, etc. ), and causes panic. This vehicle cannot be trusted as the safety is compromised.

11 Equipment problem

Failure Date: 08/09/2025

We were flat towing our Jeep Wrangler behind our RV using a new blue ox avail tow bar and the right-side tow arm failed. Once the tow bar failed it was difficult to keep the Jeep within the lane behind the RV until we could find a safe place to exit the interstate and unhook. Blue ox sent us a replacement avail tow bar since it was under warranty, and the exact same thing happened on the first trip with the brand new replacement. The right-side tow arm failed traveling down the interstate. Two failures with two brand new units…. Blue ox avail tow bar.

12 Equipment problem

Failure Date: 02/10/2025

Vehicle propelled my wife through garage door and into garage. Automatically started moving on its own from a complete stop and would not respond to brakes. While slamming on brakes, vehicle propelled forward at full throttle while in ev mode. We are thankful no one was killed or injured. Caused significant damage to our home.
