The contact owns a 2015 kia Optima. The contact stated that while attempting to activate the defroster, the defroster failed to active to defrost the windshield. The contact stated that on a separate occasion, the heated steering wheel failed to operate as needed. The contact also stated that the front driver’s side and front passenger’s side heated seats were inoperable. There was no warning light illuminated. The vehicle was not taken to a dealer or independent mechanic to be diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 127,000.

The contact owns a 2013 kia Optima. The contact stated while driving 65 mph he felt that the driver's side seat heater was over heating. The contact stated that he had attempted to set the heater to it's lowest setting, however the seat continued to over heat to the point that the contact pulled off the road way and exited the vehicle. The contact had to turn the heater off. The contact stated no warning light was illuminated. The contact had taken the vehicle to a local dealer, where it was diagnosed that there was no electrical problem with the seat. The vehicle was not repaired.
