Kia Optima, has too much chrome on the dash board and on the doors handles. When driving you get blinded when the sun is out. This cause your eyes to hurt and can cause temp blindness. Please do a study on this subject. It should be against the law to have chrome inside the dashboard and door handles on the inside.

15 Structure problem of the 2011 Kia Motor Optima

Failure Date: 04/15/2011

On 04/15/2011 our 2011 kia Optima was damaged by mice eating wires in the engine compartment. We need an engine harness replaced. Dealer told us that the part is not in the us. They also tell us that they don't know when it will be found. On 5/3/2011 we were told that it might be available on 6/112011. This car has approx. 1050 miles. The service manager at the dealer has been great in keeping us updated. Our problem is with the lax attitude I received from kia cs, and the "parts manager of the region" from NJ that called me and told me that we just have to wait. While we make out monthly lease payments to kia. How is that a company can have no parts to repair a brand new vehicle and still make money from us?.

17 Structure problem of the 2002 Kia Motor Optima

Failure Date: 06/24/2009

There was a safety recall on my 2002 kia Optima regarding the subframe. The corrosion under my car is devastating. Nhtsa needs to know that this corrosion problem is extensive and affects more then the subframe. Kia is insisting that I pay for the damage they will cause when they have to replace the subframe. This is a safety hazard that will affect thousands.
