Dear national highway transportation safety administration, I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction and concern regarding the goodyear assurance weather ready tires, size 235/45r18, installed on my 2019 kia Optima sx. These tires have proven to be defective, failing to meet the standards of safety and durability promised by goodyear. I would like goodyear to refund for the defective tires! despite being well within the mileage limit of the 60,000-mile warranty, goodyear has refused to stand by their product. Instead, they have absurdly attempted to shift the blame onto me, suggesting that frequent alignments are necessary at every oil change. This is not only an inconvenience but also an unjustifiable expense for a supposedly high-quality product. I have diligently maintained my vehicle and have documentation to support the fact that the tires are defective. However, goodyear has shown a complete disregard for customer satisfaction and safety by failing to address this issue adequately. I urge the national highway transportation safety administration to investigate this matter promptly and take appropriate action against goodyear for their negligence and failure to uphold their warranty obligations. Plus to have the tires taken off the market as they put myself and my families lives at risk. Consumers deserve better than to be burdened with faulty products and dismissive customer service.

I have been refused the repair on my 2004 kia by no less than 3 dealerships about the rusting front end because of lack of rust proofing. It made the car undrivable 4 months ago and I have had no satisfaction. You are going after Toyota with both barrels yet you are leaving kia alone and I have had nothing but serious expenses and problems with this car since it was purchased brand new in 2004. I have made several attempts at contacting your office with negative replies. If I do not here from this agency in the near future concerning my issues I will contact the media and seek my restitution through the squeaky wheel getting the grease method and my attempts to have the government assist will be part of that discussion. Please put heat on kia to get aggressive with the recall repairs.

I have a 2001 kia Optima with only 62,000 miles. Car was pulling to right thought I needed an alignment. When car went up on lift mechanics were surprised that car was still drivable and that we were safe. Frame/subframe under pass. Seat was rusted through, about the size of softball. Makes me sick to think that I had my medically invalid daughter in this car. When doing research on car I see a lot of rust issues in frame, subframe or rocker arm area. There must be some thing done about this problem. Seems like there is a one problem (rust in frame area) but there are different outcomes in the frame /tire/under engine area. Still waiting to hear from dealer regarding repair cost-- I will fight not to pay. This is a safety issue there should be recalls.

I have approximately 13,800 miles on this car (kia, Optima, lx, 2006), and the tires (4) have been changed already. The tires sound hollow, and ping, besides pulling to right and left. The second set are doing the same thing. I think and fell that kia should be involved in this problem, but they say its not there problem. These tires are on a kia?.
