The rear of the vehicle began to produce a humming noise and it gradually got louder until the passenger side rear brake assembly and tire came out of the 2004 kia Sedona.

2 Brake Electric Antilock problem

In June 2005 the brakes made a humming noise for about three months. They have not caused any problems with stopping or any safety hazard problems at this time, but the owner was upset because the car was in the repair shop five times since June. The dealership said the problem could be caused by dirty brakes. But after cleaning the brakes the noise was still there. The dealership did not know why the brakes were making noise. A representative from kia who drove the car and heard the noise. He said it was caused by dirty brakes. Kia will not do anything further than replace the brakes again.

3 Brake Electric Antilock problem

Failure Date: 12/21/2004

Consumer complained about a brake problem. The brakes locked up while the vehicle was coming to a stop. Vehicle made a large clanking sound when applying the brakes. Consumer took the vehicle to the dealer. However, the dealer was unable to duplicate the problem. The consumer stated that the brakes have not worked properly since purchase.
