Three problems related to brakes failed have been reported for the 1999 Kia Motor Sephia. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
While driving about 30 mph when stepping on brakes pedal to stop vehicle could not stop, and rear ended another vehicle, but brakes had been prior repaired. The brake failure resulted in accident which cost the consumer $ 500 in deductable.
Brakes had failed for the third time, when consumer applied the brakes, heard noise which sounded like grinding metal to metal.
The vehicle experienced brake failure. When the brake pedal was applied, the vehicle failed to stop, which resulted in a rear end collision.
