Door Hinge Problems of Kia Motor Sephia

- the contact called regarding a 2000 kia spectrum. The contact owned the vehicle since 2002 and all four doors will not shut when it was cold outside. The contact did not know if this failure occurred during a specific temperature. The contactdid not remember what the dealer said or done to the vehicle. The contact stated that the doors eventually shut. She had tied the doors shut to keep them from opening.

Nothing but problems since purchase. Windshield separated from frame, molding fell off 4 times during first 4 months of purchase alternator replaced twice. Battery replaced after only having vehicle 2 months. Air condition (a/c) fuse blew twice fan fuse blew once causing vehicle to overheat. Back doors stick shut. Back doors hinges rusted and bent causing squeaking and not completely to shut. Trans shifts hard and sometimes sticks. Engine light and overdrive light blinked trans was shifted by itself. Had trans flushed seems to be ok. Car shakes at high speeds. Tape player makes funny noises if used for long time. Gas mileage has been poor since car was purchased. Molding turned white. Car has had fuel filter replaced twice. Fuel sensor in tank replaced three times.

I have had numerous problems with this. The check engine light has come on, the rotors had to be replaced twice and they still made noise but the dealer said there was nothing else they could do, the hinge on the back door failed, the left strut had to be replaced. This time the entire bottom of the car was damaged the car skipped when in drive to reverse and the breaks would not allow the car to come to a complete stop. Kia needs to do something about this these cars have too many defects and I'm sure they have many mor people just don't report them all the time.

Engine stalls, especially when starting up vehicle in the mornings. Gas gauge does not read full, and passenger's side door is broken. This will be the third repair. Replaced door panel. Door hinges were broken.

Driver side weather stripping is coming off of door. Yh.

Passenger door will not open due to failure of the lock rods and outer handle. Mjs.

Door seal failed.
