The contact owns a 2019 kia Sorento. The contact stated that the abs warning light, indicating a failure, had illuminated. Whenever the brakes were applied the vehicle would display a sputtering noise and jerking sensation as if the brakes were hesitating to connect and come to a complete stop. The rear door on the driver side had completely detached from the vehicle. The vehicle had been taken to the dealership who were unable to identify if the cause of the failure was due to a brake failure and or electrical failure. The all four tire sensors and well as the electrical system relating to the abs had been replaced and reprogrammed. The failure persisted. The dealer stated the electrical harness may had been another possible cause for the failure. The door had not been replaced. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 35,000.
