One problem related to side/window air bag has been reported for the 1998 Kia Motor Sportage. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
When traveling 50 to 55 mph consumer was involved in a head-on collision, hitting a gaurdrail. Vehicle flipped over, and there was no deployment of both driver's and passenger's side air bags. Also, states the vehicle was a total loss. Please provide any further details.
