Three problems related to delivery hoses, lines/piping, and fittings have been reported for the 1999 Kia Motor Sportage. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
: the contact stated there was a smell of gas and a fuel leak observed under the vehicle. It was driven to an independent repair shop who replaced the fuel tank and the fuel lines. The dealer has been alerted. The fuel tank and fuel lines had rusted and were leaking gasoline. Updated 08/25/06.
The fuel line came off under hood causing fuel to spill on the engine. Taken to the dealership the dealer said that the clip on fuel line came off. Please provide any additional information. Ts.
We bought a 1999 kia in November of 1999. Since then we have had nothing but trouble with it. Every six months there is something gone wrong with it.
