Two problems related to air bag have been reported for the 1999 Land Rover Discovery Ii. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
1. Major accident happened, but airbag didn't deploy. 2. Fortunately we survived, yes of course with some injuries, but what would have happened if we were not that fortunate. In other words there was no safety from that so called good named car. Called Land Rover. 3. Want to find out what was wrong in my car.
The contact owns a 1999 Land Rover Discovery Ii. While driving approximately 35 mph, the contact noticed that the the safety restraint light appeared on the dashboard. The dealer was unable to duplicate the failure; however, the light remained illuminated. The current mileage was 54,772 and the failure mileage was at 20,421.
