One problem related to brakes failed has been reported for the 2006 Land Rover Range Rover. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
While traveling at highway speed (approximately 65mph), the electronic brake module failed causing the emergency brake to lock up the rear wheels and put the car into a skid. The vehicle veered back and forth across the 3 lane highway as I steered to regain control. After coming to a stop, the brake automatically released and I was able to drive the vehicle off the highway and into the breakdown lane.
