general problems of the 2006 Land Rover Range Rover

Three problems related to service brakes have been reported for the 2006 Land Rover Range Rover. The most recently reported issues are listed below.

1 Service Brakes problem

Failure Date: 10/23/2019

When I backed my Range Rover up over the side curb it locked my steering. I can only turn my wheel when the truck is driving it has no power while in just sitting at a light. Makes it difficult to park my truck because I can't turn the wheel without gas to the truck. I took it to auto zone to see if it was power steering but no noise the fluids are in there.

2 Service Brakes problem

Failure Date: 09/21/2014

Tl-the contact owns a 2006 Land Rover Range Rover. The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign number: 15v039000 (service brakes, hydraulic), however, the part to do the repair was unavailable. The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was not made aware of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure. Djr.

3 Service Brakes problem

Failure Date: 01/01/2008

2006 Land Rover Range Rover with multiple defects and problems. Consumer states that these are the following problems; monitors on the headrest, headrest doesn't work, knob missing from console, left rear door has scratches and more. The consumer stated the manual was missing and there was noise coming from the brake or tire area. The windows were noisy when being rolled down, when the consumer placed the vehicle in reverse, it shut off by itself. The consumer was informed the noise from tires were due to the aftermarket rims.
