Seats problem #1

While getting in the back seat, the buttons for the 2nd row seats to fold forward for the third row access are easily activated unknowingly, trapping people in between the 1st and 2nd row of seats. This has happened 3 times to 3 different people in my vehicle.

Seats problem #2

The second-row power seat latching and folding mechanism on a 2025 Land Rover Range Rover repeatedly malfunctions, fails to lock in place, and unlatches while driving. An active dashboard warning displays: "do not use rear left and centre seats until latched. " on multiple occasions, the seat mechanism has lifted up unexpectedly, nearly crushing the legs of a child seated in the second row. Because child car seats are installed in the second row, the failure of the seat frame to latch creates a serious risk of occupant injury or ejection in a sudden stop or collision. The vehicle has been brought to an authorized Land Rover franchised dealership four separate times for this exact defect between April 2025 and January 2026. The dealership confirmed and reproduced the defect on every visit. Dealership technicians have broken stuck latches, replaced inner and outer latch kits multiple times under techline advisories, re-torqued loose seat mounting bolts, and recalibrated seat control modules. In their official service records, the dealership explicitly stated: "do not use second row left and middle section for any passengers in unlatched state. " despite these four repair attempts, the seat latch mechanism continues to fail, the warning message remains active during operation, and the defect remains unresolved. The vehicle and components are available for inspection upon request, and all dealer repair orders, diagnostic logs, and photo/video evidence of the failure are available.

Seats problem #3

Unsatisfactory review for 2025 Range Rover se I purchased a 2025 Range Rover se in November 2024 for nearly $200,000, expecting a luxury vehicle with reliability to match its price tag. Unfortunately, my experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. In December 2024, just one month after purchase, the vehicle completely died while I was driving on the highway—a terrifying and unacceptable failure for a brand-new car. The vehicle was towed to the dealership, where it has remained ever since. What has made this experience even worse is Range Rover’s appalling customer service. The company’s “repurchasing” agreement process, which I initiated nearly two months ago, is lengthy, convoluted, and appears designed to disadvantage the customer at every step. Despite repeated attempts to get answers, there has been no clear timeline for resolution, no updates from anyone with decision-making authority, and absolutely no way to escalate the matter to management. For a vehicle in this price range, I expected premium customer care, but what I’ve received is the opposite: silence, frustration, and the sense that Range Rover cares more about protecting itself than making things right for its customers. Until Range Rover makes significant improvements to the reliability of its vehicles and its customer service, I cannot recommend this brand to anyone. Buyers beware—you may end up with a luxury-priced lemon and no way to resolve it.
