1. ) safety recell n623: gasoline fuel tank flange assembly cracking- I have contacted the Land Rover dealership several times and no one will help me schedule the appointment to service my vehicle. The customer service reps are rude and very unhelpful. 2. ) my vehicle was also included in a class lawsuit regarding the timing chains and tensioners- the law suit was approved in June and I submitted all of my documentation. No one from the claims administration will contact me back.

While driving on a city street the car just stops. I would have a full tank of gas and the gage reads empty. In addition all lights on the dash board go on. The car had to be flat bedded many times. I have no documentation because the car was once again flat bedded into service currently , and all paperwork is in the car.

The fuel flange at the top of my fuel tank cracked and was leaking gas fumes. The dealer stated that this is a common problem that they are seeing. If I parked next to a flame source (water heater, furnace, etc) this could be a potential safety problem along with the environmental problem of the fumes escaping into the atmosphere.

The contact owns a 2017 Land Rover Range Rover Sport. While driving approximately 55 mph, the vehicle lost acceleration and then stalled. A message of "zero gas" illuminated on the instrument panel. The contact stated that the failure occurred twice the same day, yet the fuel tank was full. The vehicle was towed to the dealer (Land Rover of huntington in huntington new york) for diagnostic testing. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 2,000.

As original owner of the rangerover, during my second year of ownership the fuel injectors gave way where the gas would not flow to the tank. The gas pump would consistently shutoff the gas to the point you could not fill o your tank. I was under warranty at this point and it was fixed by the dealership. Almost two years later , appx 1. 75 years later, the fuel injector is causing the same issue. When trying to gas up, the injector or the system itself doesn't allow the gas to auto fill up. Also when manually pumping for gas the injector keeps shutting the gas flow off. This would be the third installation of the injector and or its related components. First was oem , then my first replacement, now this third replacement is required. Rangerover and its affiliates are not taking the steps to repalce my expensive repair not will they backup there work.
