Purchased the vehicle 07/10/2020 check engine light came on 8/17/2020 called the warranty company took it to redwood city range rover dealership 8/18 (see below invoice) paid for car rental through that time. Picked up range rover on 8/31. Check engine light came back on 9/14 (see below invoice) with gas smell took it straight to dealership got another rent a car paid for services 9/18 called carvana and spoke with alex 9/18 to let them know I only had the range rover for 2 months minus the 2 weeks the dealership had it to fix and I have been having "major" problems with the vehicle. I was told by "alex' (he would not give me the initial of his last name) apologized and said there was nothing carvana could do. He stated the dealership probably did something to the gas tubes or loosened something. I told him I wanted to speak with a manager or I am contacting the bbb and the automotive association because the problems I am having with the range rover are not "minor" these were "major" problems and faulty engine, gas, and the other repairs could have been disasterous to my children and my life had it sparked or ran hot. Alex said he would have someone contact me. He later called and sent a text a hour later asking for copies of the invoice and said the management team and maintenence is requesting it to look over. I have yet to hear anything else from carvana. During this time the vehicle have been driven on freeway, city streets, in motion, taken to the gas station. (invoices are attached).

This vehicle was sold to me with known defects by the dealer and the manufacturer. The vehicle has known repeated defects with the coolant system, low coolant warning light repeatedly coming on, radiator, repeated water pump failure, crossover pipe seeping, gear box/ gear shift failure, front suspension bottoming, unusual wearing of brakes, eco start/stop failure, repeated O2 oxygen sensor failure triggering check engine light warnings, windshield washer fluid leak behind front bumper. Manufacturer and dealership are aware of defects and perform deceptive, minimal repairs under warranty with the expectation that these defects will present bigger problems down the road after the warranty has expired and will incur cost at consumer expense and dealership/manufacturer profit. Failure of the dealership/manufacturer to repair these defects has caused engine failure in my vehicle that I have owned for 3 years. I have been in contact with manufacturer and they are stalling and delaying in providing any remedy for this matter. I have full documentation and service records since ownership of the car. Car was serviced at Land Rover dealerships. In addition, vehicle has had various recalls known to NHTSA.

To whom it may concern, my vehicle which is at 15,000 miles and about 18 months old, has been facing continuous failures on its electric and electronic components that affected the air suspension shutting down, emergency break locking up, sudden shut down of the middle main console, a shut down of safety features around mirrors and similar vehicle safety warning systems. The issues happen while driving. I took it back to my dealer several times and even the last time after service the car came back with an engine warning sign. I made multiple attempts with Land Rover to correct and stated that my family and I feel very unsafe and insecure not knowing what can break down next. When we asked if it is safe the company responded that we should make that determination without an engineering or technical background. The company also said they will take 30 business days to review our case however upon several reminders that we are not feeling safe, Land Rover opts to ignore or state that they do not have resources ie people to review these cases. I would like to enter into record that we did make many attempts to relay our concerns and if there are to be any accidents it is the fault of the company for continuously ignoring the seriousness of the case and total lack of care for passenger safety. I am writing on this venue hoping that you might be able to convince the company to pay attention to the matter.

I was driving out of whataburger on 8-2-16 and all of a sudden my brakes just went all the way down to the floor board and I stopped right before I was in traffic. My tire pressure light stays on, I have had them checked several times & the back of the truck jumps to the side if I hit a bump. All of this scares the heck out of me and I have only had this vehicle 5 months. Also the truck would start and cut off so I took it to a shop 4 times and they so called fixed it. I was told I had oil leaking into my valves. It is starting better but still some hesitation at times.

Been having issues with my 2011 Land Rover back and forth to the dealer for remedy. The fuel tank strap, also known as a fuel tank heat shield, protects the gas tank from debris during driving and off-road use. The original part number is wfn500021 which replaces wfi500053. Due to the metal chosen to make this shield, and the materials of other parts around it, it suffers from galvanic corrosion. As the tank shield starts to rust, that causes rust in other areas to start as well. The shield on my vehicle has probably about 30-40% of its original life left, and I do fear it falling out at some point and possibly the fuel tank going with it as the mounting points for the fuel tank may be corroded along with the tank strap.
