The left headlight projects three dark shadows on the road surface along the left edge and middle of the road in front of the vehicle someone walking or standing on the side might not be visible and when the vehicle is turning to the right the shadows flow along the very edge of the roadway obscuring anything in its path. The car has been to the dealership twice and they verified that the shadows due exist and are operating as intended.
Lexus es2015 -the dashboard has turned shiny and sticky causing a reflection into the winshield that impairs visibility on the incidence of solar light. The degradation of the material is such that the shine annot be reversed using common automotive products. Effect in visibility is a serious safety issue and reflect poor judgement of from the manufacturer in teh selection of materials of a long useful life good.

Rear tinted inside the glass window has bubbles and smeared adhesive across glass causing it hard to view what is behind me. I have no idea how it happens I bought the car on November 16, 2016. Most of the time the car is parked in my driveway. I noticed it the first time in the last week of February 24, 2020.

Upon approaching my car, in a controlled parking lot (car is stationary), I noticed the rear portion of the panoramic sunroof appears to have exploded. Sunroof shows defective bubble, and outer-edges appear to have cracked all the way around. Investigation of the area around the car shows no foreign objects (ie. Rocks) in the area.
The windshield cracked two times within two years. First time, there was no visible sign (or noise) of any rock hitting windshield as I parked the car in sun. When I came back to parking, the windshield was cracked and the crack extended in length as I drove. It costs me $500 in insurance deductible for geico insurance to have windshield replaced. The windshield again cracked in April 2019 the second time when I was driving on interstate 10 at about 50 miles per hour. I saw a tiny mark on one edge of windshield (probably a tiny pebble hit from road) and the crack spread quickly to one foot after driving just five miles. This'll cost me $600 as per my insurance geico. I have owned six brand new cars for several years and had never had a large windshield crack from heat and small pebble hit. Two large windshield cracks within two years have got to be a defect in ES 350 2017 windshield (or manufacturing defect). I know there are sensors under the windshield in 2017 ES 350. Lexus should fix the manufacturing defect in its 2017 ES 350 windshield.
Lexus ES 350 2007 dashboard is melting and compromised. Due to the sticky mess the airbags will not deploy properly and death will likely occur. Very concerned about the toxicity of the dashboard as well. It's melting, changing color from black to white and cracking. This carcinogenic material is now poisoning all who ride in the vehicle. Included photo does not convey the glossy melting ,sticky reality of it all. The glossy melting reflection causes lots of glare and impairs visibility on sunny days. This issue must be resolved before a life is taken needlessly. Lexus refuses to replace the dashboard even though they admit that its a compromised part and have deceptively allocated this safety issue as a warranty problem that has expired. Because my vehicle is seldom driven and garaged (69,717k miles) problem did not surface until now.

The dasboard is melting severely which causes a bright glare day and night, causing visibility and safety concerns. There is also a very obnoxious smell to it. I bought this car used and didn't notice the issue at the time. Lexus should just own up to it and replace the dash no matter how old the car is since it is a safety hazard to me and others on the road. I personally try not to drive during the daytime when its the worst but thats not always feasible.
The top of the dash is sticky, almost like it's melting, causing a shiny glare to reflect off the bash and windshield making it difficult to see, especially in direct sunlight. Ive owned the car since 2010 and it's steadily worsened overtime. It became an immediate safety concern back in March as the weather became warmer.

Melting dashboard problem which affects visibility. I called Lexus headquarters in August 2017 and reported the problem. I took the car in to Lexus dealer and they took pictures which they said they would submit somewhere. After many months, I called headquarters again. I got a call from them on 1/29/2018 stating that my car is no longer under warranty. They want me to pay to replace dashboard. Many other Lexus models have been recalled for this same problem. However, they indicated my model was not under recall. Since my car also have the defected material that was used in those other models, I believe Lexus should be held responsible for replacing the dashboard. The Es350 should also be under recall because the problem exists in this model. Please contact me to advise.

Vehicle dashboard is melting and creates a dangerous road glare when driving on sunny days or hot days. It is also a very sticky surface that is sticking to everything. This is known problem on Lexus and Toyota cars.
We purchased this vehicle as a certified pre-owned in late June 2015. The windshield has a distortion that is exacerbated at night. Headlights and rear tail lamps appear in triple on vehicles. On dark/dim lit roads, the oncoming traffic's headlights appears in vertical multiples and is a safety hazard bordering on being a fatal incident. Two other similar complaints have been filed with NHTSA under the es300 category. This appears to be a lamination problem and a manufacturer's defect. Lexus denies seeing the problem. Yet, every passenger to ride in my vehicle notices the problem without me saying anything. The service staff at johnson Lexus, raleigh, nc, denies seeing the multiple images. The vehicle is under a bumper to bumper warranty and Lexus has failed to honor the warranty. The distortion is visible whether the vehicle is stationary or moving.
I have a curved mirror on the passenger side of the auto. The mirror is distorted. The objects in the mirror are closer than they appear. It is dangerous and misleading. It causes backing up and lane change accidents I just received a new patent that uses a flat mirror on both sides of the vehicle. It is called the "see more switch" it is an " automotive side mirror control system" with no blind spots (perfect view) this system is automatic in drive and reverse. It is available for sale or lease.
Dashboard melt when the temperature reach 80 degree which is most days of the year in florida, couple of month ago the melting dashboard is causing a severe glare that make visibility difficult, as a result it is a hazard to drive this car every day or for more than one hour at the time or the temperature is 80 degree or higher. Lexus refused to remedy the defect in the past and now that many people are complaining Lexus is saying the do not have enough parts to replace all the melting dashboard. Meanwhile I can be killed in a car accident and Lexus could care less. I have three young children, safety and visibility are essential to drive my car. I no longer feel safe in my Lexus Es350 2007 and I lost my trust in the brand name. I need your help in remedy my hazard/safety issue caused intestinally by Lexus knowing florida has a higher temperature than most other states.
Dashboard is melting. Causing a dangerous glare from sunlight, other driver's headlights, and street lights.
Dashboard material melted creating a blinding glare on the interior of windshield during daytime hours. Dangerous driving condition.
Dashboard is melting which makes it difficult to see due to the glare. Bugs and dirt are now stuck on the dashboard that you cannot clean. I now have plastic containers to decrease the glare. My Lexus dealer was to see if he could get me some assistance on getting this fix in sept. 2013; no word to-date. This is a major hazard both day and night (glare from street lights).
The dashboard melting and gets shinny and sticky in the sun makes driving it with glare.
My right headlight began to flicker and did so for several weeks, then the left one started to do the same thing. Now they both completely shut off when I'm driving. I need to turn them on and off several times before they come back on. This is not only frightening, but extremely dangerous. Makes me afraid to drive after dusk. To add to the matter. . . . . . Recently, my passenger side window fell off of the track. My husband was able to manipulate the window to get it to stay up. . . But now I am unable to use that window. This week my driver side window has done the same thing. When a window falls out of it's track it is totally unexpected and causes a major distraction. . . Especially when it's right next to you on the driver's side! one more item. . . . . . Now my sideview mirrors change position while I'm driving. I couldn't understand why when I was driving I could no longer view vehicles in the lanes next to me and then I realized my mirrors had changed. Again, a safety issue because now I need to readjust my mirrors while I'm driving. I can't believe this is the quality of a Lexus! what's next????.
On July 24, 2014 I noticed the dashboard on the driver side was starting to look sticky and shiny like the passenger side, but didn't think anything of it until I started driving and could not see clearly out of the windshield because of the glare from the sticky and shiny dashboard. After further research I find that I am not the only consumer with this problem. In 2012 I first noticed the sticky and shiny dashboard only on the passenger side which I've mentioned the issue to the dealer who stated he hasn't heard about such issue. I will be bringing my car in as it is now affecting my ability to drive safely because of the glare on the windshield and will present them with the many other complaints seen here. Clearly this is a safety hazard that Lexus needs to issue a recall on before the entire dashboard melts and affects the airbags. I hope to see a resolution for all soon before a fatality from this defect becomes national news as the acceleration issue did.
While driving my 2007 ES 350 I attempted to let my passenger side front window down and when I tried to let it up it wouldn't go up at first then it came up off track upon letting it up.
The entire dashboard on my vehicle is melting. The cause is unknown but it appears to be a material, or material process, issue. The shiny black melting dashboard is highly reflective. It impairs my vision on a sunny day. I've tried many different types of sunglasses to try to make it easier on my eyes, but nothing seems to help. I have talked to Lexus, they agreed that it's a problem but their offer to "help" pay for the repair was not acceptable (50% of ~$3200. 00). The melting process began about 2 years ago, it was a local problem (reflections only at certain sun angles). Currently, the entire dashboard is melted (reflections all day when the sun is out). Thanks!.
While driving down the road at varying speeds I have noticed that the outside mirrors on my car change position without any input on the switch. During the week or so prior to the first time that this occurred, I had noticed that when returning to the car after leaving it parked overnight that the mirrors, selecting the memory switch would return the seat and mirrors to their preset position. However this has now progressed to where the mirrors will change position while the vehicle is in motion. The driver's mirror will not change position dramatically, however the passenger side mirror will frequently tilt up to nearly the full extent of its' travel and without any warning or input from the driver. This has led to several occasions where a quick glance, especially at night, did not show an obstruction on the passenger side of the car and nearly led to an accident. Pressing the memory recall button numerous times will eventually bring the mirror back to the set memory position. This is a safety hazard and I would like my vehicle to be repaired.
