The contact stated that while driving at various speeds the vehicle would not immediately accelerate while pressing the accelerator pedal and the vsc and check engine sensor lights would illuminate. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who diagnosed that the emc was faulty and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer and local dealer were not notified.
