Two problems related to engine burning oil have been reported for the 2008 Lexus GS350. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Engine consumes excessive amounts of oil. Car is burning 1 qt of oil per 1,000 miles. Emissions standard do not allow for engine to burn this amount of oil , polluting the air. This amount of oil burning can cause a engine to lock -up with out warning.
My vehicle is having an issue with oil consumption, after running it for 2000 miles after every engine oil (synthetic) and filter replacement, my vehicle engine oil level shows to be super low. No signs of leakage anywhere.
