Takata recall-I was notified of the takata recall on my is 250 year 2010 back in July. I contacted the dealer the same day and was put on a waiting list. I followed up with them multiple times to see when the parts would be in inventory and they kept saying soon. Did not apologize for any inconveniences at any time. This recall has also been reported to my insurance company therefore limiting the 100% use of my car. I was contacted Monday March 20, 2017 (9 months later) that finally the parts have arrived. This is terrible consumer satisfaction and consumer quality. Basically I purchased a 4 passenger car, to only really only have 3 passengers for almost a year. I used to be part of a carpool and no longer can which adds more mileage to my car. I was never offered a loaner car from the dealer and was told that the parts had to be manufactured which was why it took over 6 months. I would love to be part of any class action lawsuit or contacted for more information if needed about how this has affected day to day activities.
