Noticed my leather center console has cracks and is shiny when it's hot outside.

My entire dash board is melting. The door panels have melted in some areas and cracked in others. Car is in excellent condition and wanted to sell it but no one wld even look at it with a sticky dashboard that is melting and door panels that all cracking off. Lexus says they are not responsible because it is out of warranty. They will discount the replacement of the dashboard at an exuberant charge! this is a manufacture defect.

Driving on two lane highway doing 40 maybe 45 mph, windows closed, sun shade closed, 80 degree outside temperature and the sun roof expoded out hitting the trunk and damaging the paint. The sound was so loud I that a tree fell on the the back roof and destroyed the car. Only the sun roof was gone, most of the glass was missing. I did make a sharp uturn 5 minutes before and the front windshied was changed out 3 months before this because the windshied cracked in half with no chip or rocks hitting it.
The dashboard and door panels are melting, cracking and sticky and the glare off the dashboard is very dangerous to the driver and other drivers on the road. I think Lexus should issue a recall on these parts before someone gets really hurt.
I started noticing that my dashboard and all four door panels are melting and its very sticky. While driving the glare gets really bad reflecting onto the windshield that its hard to see. I can't lean my arm on my door because its really sticky and it leaves a film on my arm. My dashboard is also cracking due to this melting. I have not noticed a recall on it but I have spoke to others that this is happening to and also seeing the same online with other Lexus/Toyota owners.

I am the recipient of a minimum of (2) warranty enhancement program notices - zld regarding any cracked and/or sticky/melting dashboards and front & rear interior door panels. The dealership has indicated to me that the parts are on national backorder yet I have been waiting for more than 20 months for this repair. The material is now falling off my car when the doors close and is also coming off on my hands and clothing. The dealership continues to state month after month that I am 13th in line for the dashboard replacement with absolutely no movement from the 13th position, again, after months in the same position. Dealership indicates there is no position on the door panels as they've received no materials to date. How much longer will I have to wait before the repairs are completed? I am quite concerned that the secondary coverage (extension) provided in the letter is about to expire in less than 6 months at which point I will be stuck with the mess and the repair cost.
I own a 2007 Lexus is 250, I took it to the shop early last year for some repairs and I inquired about the cracked and/or sticky/melting dashboard and front and rear interior door panel , was suppose to be added to the list for repairs, which is a safet hazard because the melting of the dashboard create a glare which make it difficult to see. Spoke with dealership to see if I was added to the list. I have even spoke with the Lexus corp. I received an initial letter pertaining to the problem which stated that another notification letter would be sent out once sufficient parts have been prepared and obtained for replacement due to this cosmetic condition. Never did get the second letter and now I'm being told that all repairs habe been completed, mean while I'm riding in a Lexus that if I touched the door it dissolves.
